Will you be able to mark this thread as resolved? I'm not a mod, so I don't have the permission to do so. As someone who opens the thread, you probably can mark it as resolved.
wpspeakMemberSorry just noticed your replied. For some reason the email forwarding system does not work.
Glad to hear you figured it out!
wpspeakMemberYes, I think there's max number of item for menu. Read about this long time ago and there are lots of threads in WP about this issue

wpspeakMemberI think some had asked this before and I believe it's not possible. No filter available to change the output the widget.
Try this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-featured-widget-amplified/ , this is an extend version of the genesis featured post widget.
wpspeakMemberHi,
Looks like you're trying to hide the post tags.
Do you need to remove the tag? Use this code https://gist.github.com/wpspeak/5694935
June 2, 2013 at 3:00 pm in reply to: Adding Facebook like button to Genesis featured posts widget #43663wpspeakMemberWhat I'll do is create a shortcode for facebook like then use the shortcode in the post widget.
This might be useful to get started http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-a-shortcode-in-wordpress/
wpspeakMemberI have re-uploaded all comment-related PHP files from a fresh download of WordPress, and have even re-uploaded comments.php to the Genesis parent theme. Nothing changes.
I have overwritten the Genesis comments.php with the same file from one of the default WP themes, and the comment box and title appear, with an error message, as seen here:http://screencast.com/t/f4rq5C858Ag
You do not need to do all of these. Genesis child themes work out of the box.
1. Make sure you've enable comment from the Genesis settings page.
2. Make sure you've enable people to comment from Settings > Discussion
3. You probably cannot see the form because you are logged in. Tried view the site when logged out (usually I just use different browser)
wpspeakMemberShareasale also provides banners to promote StudioPress.
wpspeakMemberI think this is what you're looking for http://www.briangardner.com/genesis-box/
Please let me know if that helps you.
June 2, 2013 at 2:38 pm in reply to: Need advice for storefront page to integrate with my genesis theme #43655wpspeakMemberHi,
It is POSSIBLE to use WooCommerce with Genesis. However, you need to install an additional plugin http://www.studiopress.com/plugins/genesis-connect-woocommerce
WooCommerce will also create a page called Shop.
Let me know if there's anything I can help
wpspeakMemberHave you tried genesis_before_content ?
See here http://i.imgur.com/3RtedU2.jpg
To make it easier, I recommend using Genesis Visual Hook Guide. I've also written a post about this not long time ago http://wpspeak.com/genesis-framework-hooks/
wpspeakMemberThings is little bit different in G 2.0 since it uses new hooks.
Did this before for one of my projects. This is exactly the same code I used.
https://gist.github.com/wpspeak/5694794
Please let me know if this works for you.
wpspeakMemberIt depends whether your site use custom post type, custom taxonomy etc.
If it's just a widget, it's easy. Just deactivate your current theme, activate new theme and drag the widget back to it's position (sometimes the widgets are messed up).
If your site is just a blog, no need to worry anything.
June 2, 2013 at 10:32 am in reply to: How to get the line numbers to appear in Style.css Editor? #43610wpspeakMemberProbably they use external code editor.
It's not recommended to edit the code directly from your dashboard if you're not sure what to do. Always have a backup/copy of your file before making any changes.
Btw, if you still want to edit the code directly from your dashboard, try install this plugin http://wordpress.org/plugins/advanced-code-editor/
wpspeakMemberHi,
1. Have you registed the Google custom font? If you haven't, you need to do it first. You may see how to do it HERE http://www.briangardner.com/code/load-google-fonts/
2. Secondly, I think you won't need the media=”all”. Just delete it.
3. For custom font, you need to use something like this --> 'Handlee'. So, it'll be font-family: 'Handlee', cursive;
wpspeakMemberYes, with some edit to the CSS. Can you please provide link to your site?
wpspeakMemberHi,
Please see your home.php file from Appearance> Editor. Choose the home.php file
The feature will be 2, and the teaser (those at the bottom) will be 8 if I'm not mistaken. You may change that from the home.php file.
wpspeakMemberDo you mean custom header?
If so, you may want to read this article http://www.wpmayor.com/code/how-to-set-your-own-logo-in-a-genesis-child-theme/
wpspeakMemberLooks like site-specific problem. If the demo works fine but the there's problem on your site, something is wrong. Happen to a have url for the live site?
wpspeakMemberMay may want to try this tutorial http://youneedfat.com/genesis-responsive-design-menu/ yeah it's for Genesis.
