Hi,
1. Using firebug, I inspect the css of the header and I found this:
`
#header {
background: url("images/bg.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0 #FFFFFF;
margin: 0 auto;
position: fixed;
top: 0;
width: 100%;
z-index: 100;
}
`Try change the background to
background: url("images/bg.png") repeat-x scroll 0 0;
and add border-bottom: 15px solid #fff;
2. You may increase the z-index to 999
3. Gap? Not sure which one you're referring to. Is it on main content, sidebar, nav menu etc?

wpspeakMemberThat's not a right way to reg a js in WordPress.
You do not need to dev a custom template for each single page.
You can read this great post on enqeueu js in WordPress http://wpcandy.com/teaches/how-to-load-scripts-in-wordpress-themes/#.UaonJUDVCSo
With the help of WordPress conditional tags, you can specify where the js will be used, otherwise deregister.
wpspeakMemberHave you tried using CSS?
I tried using the following CSS and it works fine
.archive .pages { display: none; }
wpspeakMemberNot sure about the code. But.... do you want to create a sticky menu? If the answer is yes, Brian had already wrote about a tutorial about this http://www.briangardner.com/sticky-menu/
wpspeakMemberI think you just need to enable the CSS Classes on Menu. Fortunately, I've written about this long time ago. Hope this helps

wpspeakMemberHave you enabled the HTML5 support? The title says "Genesis 2", so I assume you use Genesis 2.0 Beta version and have enabled the HTML 5 support. I that's the case, you may use the code below (add the the functions.php of your child theme):
// Add post navigation (requires HTML5 theme support) add_action( 'genesis_after_entry_content', 'genesis_prev_next_post_nav', 5 );
wpspeakMemberOk just figure it out. Nothing is wrong. Just messed up with the other functions/css. Tested with other theme and works perfectly.
Sorry can't delete the post.
March 16, 2013 at 7:02 pm in reply to: Editing Featured Widget Info – This Time w/Image Links #28385wpspeakMemberCdils - Can you use all that to customize the Featured Post widget? Or it is only applicable for loop? Because delectablychic is using featured post widget.
wpspeakMemberI suggest using Genesis Responsive Header plugin

wpspeakMemberHi,
The reason for that is because Amped uses custom home.php file. To set up the homepage, you can do so from the widget page.
Since you only want to use the default blog page, follow these steps:
1. Create a new page. Simply give any title.
2. Then, on the right column, somewhere below the publish button, you'll see Template. Choose "Blog" template from the dropdown.
3. Settings > Reading. Tick on the Static Page bullet, and from the "Front Page: " dropdown, choose the page you just created.
4. Save.
wpspeakMemberThat's weird.
If you open page_landing.php, by default you'll see these two lines of codes:
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_subnav', 15 );The first line will remove the main menu and the second line will remove the secondary menu.
Did you put any custom code in functions.php or any other files? If yes, that might be the reason since the landing page on the demo site works perfectly without any menu.

ABSOLUTELY. 😀
January 29, 2013 at 5:24 pm in reply to: Need minor help with Option Framework or Option Tree #16191wpspeakMemberI'm not a fan of Option Framework. But I suggest you to dig the code of the Genesis Design Palette plugin, Prose Child Theme or Genesis Extender plugin.
wpspeakMemberSorry for hijacking your thread, but if you have no idea how to code it, I suggest you to buy Easy Custom Content Types plugin.
Some of the cool features:
1. Auto generate template for custom tax archive, single page for CPT.
2. You can also enable the option to automatically show the metabox value on single page template.
The price of the plugin is just $30. I've bought this plugin and satisfied with what it's capable of. Very handy to create CPT, custom tax and metabox. However, if you're an advance developer, you'll hate this plugin.
ps: There's video at the plugin page, please watch it.
wpspeakMemberWell, looks for the word "font-family"
For example (this is for H1 tag)
/* Defaults */h1 {
font-family: 'Lato', serif;
}For Title:
#title {
font-family: 'Oswald', arial, serif;
font-size: 48px;
line-height: 48px;
margin: 0 0 5px;
text-transform: uppercase;}
You just need to search for font-family to change the font of the H1, H2, Title etc. If there's no font-family property, you can add your own.
Cool?
January 29, 2013 at 10:54 am in reply to: How do I add the category ID into post classes on the homepage? #16011wpspeakMemberWell, actually you can do that with the correct class.
Try this
.home #content .category-category-1 .entry-content p {
color: #F5f5f5
}Where 1 is the ID of your category.
If you notice from Blissful theme (http://demo.studiopress.com/blissful/) besides the post title, there is a cute icon. If you realize, each post has different icon based on their category. Look at the style.css file to figure out the code it use. You'll find it is close to what I gave you above.
January 29, 2013 at 7:13 am in reply to: How do I add the category ID into post classes on the homepage? #15944wpspeakMemberIn other words, do you want a blog page with single category? (or exclude single/multiple category)
So, these tutorials might be helpful

wpspeakMemberTry Widget Logic plugin:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/
You need to use conditional tags to specify where those ads will appear
