You can try adding this in your
style.css
.site-container .site-header { overflow: visible; } .header-image .title-area { position: relative; top: -45px; }

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberneilgeeMemberHi Clare - the filter excerpt_more is actually a WordPress filter so it will work on any WordPress theme.
Try it with a higher priority:
add_filter( 'excerpt_more', 'genesischild_read_more_link', 2 );

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberOk i thought you followed the post referenced in your initial post.
I am unaware of the theme and it using default placeholder js.
I can see that what you have generates a javascript error.
I suggest you back up your original placeholder.js and then try using just the content from this file - http://jamesallardice.github.io/Placeholders.js/assets/js/placeholders.min.js

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberneilgeeMemberThe widths are explicitly set in pixels try adding this in your style.css
@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) { .header-image .site-title a { width: 100%; background-size: contain; min-height: 180px; } .header-image .site-header .widget-area { padding-top: 0; } .title-area { width: 100%; min-height: 0; } }

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberI can see the placeholder text in Firefox - however I don't think your CSS is loading...

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberI would try and see if a plugin is causing the issue, so if you can see the HTML entity in the code in the dashboard but not the front end - can you see if you disable all plugins?

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberYou could try:
.wti_widget_li { overflow:auto; } .widget_wtimostlikedpostswidget li a { float:right; width:70%; }
And if you can get rid of those numbers in brackets (the count) you can get the images a little bigger - or just hide then in CSS:
.wti_widget_li { overflow:auto; } .widget_wtimostlikedpostswidget li a { float:right; width:75%; } span.wti_widget_count { display: none; }

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberTry using these in the text mode editor (HTML) where you want them, use the entire line for each suite including the ampersand and semi-colon.

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberSet a height on the header in you style.css
.site-header { height:200px; }
Neil Gee
WP Beaches
Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberYou can add this to your style.css file
.site-header .widget-area a { color:#000 important!; }
You have an inline style which is being overridden by a CSS style - adding the above should fix it.

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberneilgeeMemberAs long as you can see it in the data structured tool - it's set up correctly.
Doesn't matter anyway as Google are removing the image profile in results as announced today - https://plus.google.com/113006028898915385825/posts/PDkPdPtjL6j

Do you have a URL?

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberYou don't need to create a template for the archive listing. When you created the custom post type as long as you set the:
'has_archive' => true, 'rewrite' => array( 'slug' => 'games' ),
Then just visit the permalinks page to activate the new custom post type - Dashboard>Settings>Permalinks
Then go to http://mydomain.com/games/ and you should see the archive listing of all the posts of that CPT.
