Seems like your CSS is being minified by a plugin or caching tool - try disabling any plugins with these capabilities ary again

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberThe issue wouldn't be with Genesis as when you enable Yoast SEO the Genesis SEO settings are disabled.
Your titles are set correctly, what I would say is that Google will 'change' the title output in the search listing results depending what the search terms were input, and this will also vary between desktop and mobile search. There is not a lot you can do about it but it is not a bad thing.
All you can do is verify what the output should be when it is unaltered via the Google data structure tool - http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberIts the CSS that is at fault - you have a background image set to an inline element -> a tag
This will make it visible but I would consider applying the background image to the #title-area
#title a { background: url(http://immanagers.com/namw/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/header-namw.jpg) no-repeat !important; width: 600px; display: block; height: 148px; } #title-area { float: left; overflow: hidden; padding: 27px 0 0; overflow: hidden; width: auto; } #header .widget-area { float: right; min-height: 0px; padding: 25px 0 0 0; position: relative; width: 740px; }

Coolest GuidesMay 2, 2014 at 7:17 am in reply to: PHP Upgrade causing issues to site and Genesis Simple Sidebars #103322neilgeeMemberYou may not be able to downgrade if u are on shared hosting.
The error seems odd - I have a few HG accounts running PHP 5.4 with Simple SIdebars and have no issues.... if you look at the 2 lines in question of the file do you see the below:
genesis_register_sidebar( array( 'name' => esc_html( $info['name'] ), 'id' => $id, 'description' => esc_html( $info['description'] ), 'editable' => 1, ) );
The line numbers should equal the name and description lines - do you have the same content?

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberIt won't change with just adding the class, you need to build the menu the regular way and add in via a widget. Then it will have all the right CSS classes. The alternative would be to add some custom javascript.

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberTest here - http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets
And i have an article here - http://coolestguidesontheplanet.com/adding-google-plus-author-profile-genesis-theme/
Also note that it is not guaranteed that Google will display the image but the richsnippets tool will verify that you have it set up correctly

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberneilgeeMemberthis is the CSS style sheet that controls that - http://dekmarfilms.com/wp-includes/js/mediaelement/wp-mediaelement.css, you can edit that but will lose changes on an upgrade - so also declare the CSS in your own stylesheet

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberNo it's all based on the framework with tweaks that i find I use a lot, these can all be removed of course. There are a lot of widgetised areas as shown in the layout pic on GitHub. Hope it works out ok.

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMember1 - Yes you can, you just need to use a child theme from the framework - I did a tut on this - http://coolestguidesontheplanet.com/creating-wordpress-child-theme-genesis-framework/
2 - Yes buy the other themes later - once you have the framework you can use it with any child themes, free or for sale.

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberdoes it work without the conditional...
function genesischild_post_info($post_info) { $post_info = 'Posted on [post_date] [post_comments] [post_edit]'; return $post_info; } add_filter( 'genesis_post_info', 'genesischild_post_info' );

WP Beaches
Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberdoes this work in functions.php
/** Customise the post-meta info function */ add_filter( 'genesis_post_info', 'genesischild_post_info' ); function genesischild_post_info($post_info) { if (!is_page()) { $post_info = 'Posted on [post_date] [post_comments] [post_edit]'; return $post_info; } }

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberhmmm thinking about it all you would need to do in Genesis is add:
.site-inner { max-width: none; } @media only screen and (max-width: 1139px) { .site-inner{max-width: none;} }
Which will make the inner page content widthless then just add in some regular HTML/CSS markup for the rows.

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberDidn't really find a way to do it the way i want - which is to have all the page content within the actual page and managed via just the visual editor not via separate widgets.
I get the idea of pre and post page content added in via widgets but that is messy for handing over to a client.
I have ended up just using TwentyTwelve theme and making the main content div 100% and then setting up my full row wrappers and content inside divs on the page in the editor. - http://dev-wendymak.autopilotyourbusiness.com/ssr2014/

Coolest GuidesneilgeeMemberhi Brad - thanks for the reply.
What i mean is content on the page that has backgrounds the span the entire viewport like the menus with the enclosed wrap class in Genesis.
