I managed to change the appearance of my post in the categories and arhives (see my previews post). The problem is that the posts don't have a Read More text that the reader could click.
What should I do? I assume that I need some coding...?
It worked. THanks!
Off Topic! Is there a forum or site where people discus about blogs?
I want a critical view on my weblog usability, design and stuff like that/
I don t know.
What I know is that: I m not a graphic designer; or a webdesigner; or webmaster; or anything in this area,
I m just looking for opinions from someone who knows better.
I am trying to do the same thing as Draceadan. I've copied your code exactly as written into my functions.php file, but it is still not working for me. What I mean by that is, nothing happens. It is as if the filter did not get called at all.
I use a Genesis child theme called Enterprise-Pro. I am not sure why your code example is not working. The filter hook you use in the example is called "excerpt_more". Is it possible that Enterprise-Pro does not have this filter hook? Or do all Genesis child themes have this filter hook?
Thank you for your help.
