mmjaegerMemberThis reply has been marked as private.mmjaegerMemberMight be a javascript issue - the secondary navigation constantly is changing its opacity?!

(function($) { $(".toggle-search a").click(function() { $(".search-wrap").slideToggle('slow', function(){ $(".toggle-search").toggleClass('active'); }); }); })(jQuery);
mmjaegerMemberThis reply has been marked as private.mmjaegerMemberyour widget needs to be 100% wide - you're setting it to 33% - the articles inside that widget need to be set at 33%

mmjaegerMemberA week ago I reported this issue to Studiopress support - they sent me a link to some dev version that included the css part again for the footer widgets - I'm a little surprised how long it takes them to fix the sample theme on their download page - I've seen many people here having an issue with the sample theme - here is the missing part - just add it to your style.css file:
/* # Footer Widgets ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */ .footer-widgets { background-color: #333; clear: both; padding-top: 40px; } .footer-widgets, .footer-widgets a { color: #aaa; } .footer-widgets input { border: 1px solid #333; } .footer-widgets a.button, .footer-widgets a:hover, .footer-widgets a:focus { color: #fff; } .footer-widgets li { border-bottom: 1px dotted #666; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; } .footer-widgets .widget { margin-bottom: 40px; } .footer-widgets p:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } .footer-widgets-1, .footer-widgets-2, .footer-widgets-3 { width: 340px; } .footer-widgets-1 { margin-right: 60px; } .footer-widgets-1, .footer-widgets-2 { float: left; } .footer-widgets-3 { float: right; }
mmjaegerMemberFor some reason they left out the whole css part for the footer widgets - put this in your stylesheet and everything should work:
/* # Footer Widgets ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- */ .footer-widgets { background-color: #333; clear: both; padding-top: 40px; } .footer-widgets, .footer-widgets a { color: #aaa; } .footer-widgets input { border: 1px solid #333; } .footer-widgets a.button, .footer-widgets a:hover, .footer-widgets a:focus { color: #fff; } .footer-widgets li { border-bottom: 1px dotted #666; margin-bottom: 10px; padding-bottom: 10px; } .footer-widgets .widget { margin-bottom: 40px; } .footer-widgets p:last-child { margin-bottom: 0; } .footer-widgets-1, .footer-widgets-2, .footer-widgets-3 { width: 340px; } .footer-widgets-1 { margin-right: 60px; } .footer-widgets-1, .footer-widgets-2 { float: left; } .footer-widgets-3 { float: right; }
mmjaegerMembersome misunderstanding I guess - I meant in a php function - anyway, something like this
if ( function_exists( 'genesis_init' ) ) {
seems to workSeptember 3, 2015 at 10:40 am in reply to: Why is almost the whole blog content shown in italic? #164468mmjaegerMemberyour content is wrapped in

tagsmmjaegerMemberthe following coded fixed it for me:
/** * Pagination: fix pagination issue with custom taxonomy archive page */ add_action( 'parse_query', 'mm_parse_query' ); function mm_parse_query() { if ( ! is_tax( 'media_tag' ) ) return; global $wp_query; $wp_query->query_vars[ 'post_type' ] = array( 'resources' ); $wp_query->query_vars[ 'post_status' ] = array( 'all' ); $wp_query->query_vars[ 'posts_per_page' ] = 16; }
you need to adjust the code to your settings e.g. the taxonomy name
mmjaegerMemberwhat version of Genesis and the Sample theme are you using - I believe they are outdated and do not use the latest markup - as to your layout issue, you're applying some padding to the #inner div - it is set to 100% width + the padding therefore the overflow - border-box is not applied to the #inner div - you could add the #inner div to this in your stylesheet:
body,
input,
select,
textarea,
.footer-widgets-1,
.footer-widgets-2,
.footer-widgets-3 {
-moz-box-sizing: border-box;
-webkit-box-sizing: border-box;
box-sizing: border-box;
}However, I suggest you update to the latest versions of Genesis and the theme.
mmjaegerMember`
.TA_certificateOfExcellence {
text-align: center;
}.widCOE {
display: inline-block
}'this should do it.
July 5, 2015 at 5:35 pm in reply to: something weird is going on when setting posts_per_page #158446mmjaegerMemberThank you for your input - I came up with the following code meanwhile - it looks like it's working be I have not fully tested it yet:
$current_page = absint( get_query_var( 'paged' ) ); $offset = $current_page > 2 ? ( $current_page - 2 ) * $post_per_page_subsequent + $posts_per_page_first : $posts_per_page_first;
