Thanks Brad - really appreciate your input.
Preferably, I'm after a solution using functions.php only even more so as I most likely need a similar solution when adding a Mobile menu I guess.
mmjaegerMemberThis reply has been marked as private.mmjaegerMemberI'm using the Genesis sample 2.0 - added the theme support for the right header and it works - however it leads to an error in the code while looking for a picture called header.img - commenting this line 'default-image' => sprintf( $args['header_image'], get_stylesheet_directory_uri() ), in the main header.php file solves the issue.
Am I supposed to provide some header.png file when adding theme support for header right?
mmjaegerMemberand what's the header right - some widget??
mmjaegerMemberI'm not sure whether this is a Genesis theme: http://socialite.syncthemes.com
mmjaegerMemberI'm interested in that one as well
mmjaegerMemberThis reply has been marked as private.mmjaegerMemberI think I got it although I don't know whether that's the way to do it:
function custom_page_title() { ?> <div id="full-title"> <div class="wrap"> <?php if ( !is_single()) { ?> <h1><i class="icon-copy"></i> <?php $cat = get_the_category(); echo $cat[0]->cat_name; ?> </h1> <?php } else { genesis_do_breadcrumbs(); } get_search_form(); ?> </div> </div> <?php }
mmjaegerMemberif I'd use a widget area, how do I put the breadcrumbs and the search form in there?
let me try to explain again - below the header I'd like to show a div container with the breadcrumbs on the left and the search form on the right - depending on the page e.g. single blog page, I'd like to show the category title instead of the breadcrumbs like on the wpexplorer page. - is the a shortcode in genesis to output the breadcrumbs?
mmjaegerMemberthere is no link as it is a local installation only - the link provided above show what I'm trying to achieve - hope that helps.
here it is again: http://www.wpexplorer.com/beginners-guide-to-wordpress-blogging/
mmjaegerMemberI'm aware of that - the Genesis Framework is more like a WordPress framework whereas Zurb is a CSS framework, isn't it
