bump
mmjaegerMemberit's locally
mmjaegerMemberI got one issue when putting the following code onto my page:
add_action( 'pre_get_posts', 'nv_pre_get_posts' ); function nv_pre_get_posts( $query ) { global $paged; $term = get_queried_object(); $query->set( 'post_type', 'attachment' ); $query->set( 'post_status', 'all' ); $query->set( 'posts_per_page', 16 ); $query->set( 'orderby', 'date' ); $query->set( 'order', 'DESC' ); $query->set( 'taxonomy', $term->taxonomy ); $query->set( 'term', $term->slug ); $query->set( 'paged', $paged ); return $query; }
for some reasons, the main navigation disappears - any idea why?
Thanks
mmjaegerMemberThank you for replying - seem to work for the first page - however the pagination does not work - it shows up at the bottom of the page but click on e.g. page 2 leads to a 404 - any idea how to fix this?
thanks again.
mmjaegerMemberI got thousands of pictures - the following formats show up in my downloads folder:
pic1-60x60.jpg (thumbnail)
pic1-256x170.jpg(medium)
pic1-404x270.jpg(large)
pic1.jpg(full)mmjaegerMemberThanks Lauren - i got a least three image sizes but they don't show up in the drop down menu - only thumbnail is there !!

mmjaegerMemberI'm on localhost - but anyway, is_home and is_front_page are basic WP functions and I don't understand why they are not working?
mmjaegerMemberdon't see and function related to the breadcrumbs in the eleven40 pro functions file
mmjaegerMemberI'm aware of that function - thank - however, I need to figure out what the layout is of a page - so depending on the layout of the current page I might run this or another function
mmjaegerMemberThis reply has been marked as private.mmjaegerMemberI think I've done so - never got a response
mmjaegerMemberHello Brad
I kind of was able to solve the problem by adding to the template:
remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_post_meta' );
here's the code:
<?php /** * Genesis Framework. * * WARNING: This file is part of the core Genesis Framework. DO NOT edit this file under any circumstances. * Please do all modifications in the form of a child theme. * * @package Genesis\Templates * @author StudioPress * @license GPL-2.0+ * @link http://my.studiopress.com/themes/genesis/ */ //* Template Name: Archive //* Remove standard post content output remove_action( 'genesis_post_content', 'genesis_do_post_content' ); remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'genesis_do_post_content' ); add_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'custom_page_archive_content' ); add_action( 'genesis_post_content', 'custom_page_archive_content' ); remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_post_meta' ); /** * This function outputs sitemap-esque columns displaying all pages, * categories, authors, monthly archives, and recent posts. * * @since 1.6 */ function custom_page_archive_content() { ?> <h5><?php _e( 'Categories:', 'genesis' ); ?></h5> <ul> <?php wp_list_categories( 'sort_column=name&title_li=' ); ?> </ul> <h5><?php _e( 'Tags:', 'genesis' ); ?></h5> <div class="tag-list-archive clearfix"> <?php $args = array ( smallest => 12, largest => 12, unit => 'px', number => 0, format => 'list' ); wp_tag_cloud( $args ); ?> </div> <h5><?php _e( 'News:', 'genesis' ); ?></h5> <div class="blog-list-archive"> <?php $args = array ( 'post_type' => 'post', 'order_by' => 'date', 'order' => 'DESC', 'showposts' => -1 ); $y = null; $m = null; $loop = new WP_Query( $args ); if( $loop->have_posts() ): while( $loop->have_posts() ): $loop->the_post(); global $post; $archive_year = get_the_time('Y'); $archive_month = get_the_time('m'); if ( $archive_year != $y ) { if ( !is_null( $y ) ) { // a list is already open, close it first echo "\n\t\t" . mmjaegerMemberin Genesis 2.0 html 5 support is added in your functions.php file like this: //* Add HTML5 markup structure
add_theme_support( 'html5' );before it was something like add_theme_support('genesis_html5') I believe.
mmjaegerMemberactually figured it out - the main problem was that calling html 5 support was changed to just "html5"
Thanks anyway.
mmjaegerMember@Garyl
Would you mind recommending any of the plugins you have in mind?
Even setting up the site (front-end) in one language while keeping WP admin in English seems to be a struggle.

mmjaegerMember@braddalton: what's the pro plus package you mention?
mmjaegerMember@wp_guy - would you mind providing a link?
