A quick and easy way is to use this plugin and customize as desired. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-printstyle-plus/

weslindaMemberCraig,
What did you do to make the change? It should be a simple CSS change. Just add the item below to the proper area in your css file and make sure to add the color and text-decoration:none; that you would need to make those specific changes.
.sidebar .widget li a {}

weslindaMemberNice tip.

March 23, 2013 at 9:01 am in reply to: Metro theme: How to make a new page with Home Top & Middle & Bottom widgets? #30674weslindaMemberThis can be done through custom widgets and archive pages, but would become a bear to manage over time as each issue would need it's own widgets, and that might become hard to manage in the admin area. Here is a starting point for custom archive pages, http://www.briangardner.com/custom-archives-page/.

weslindaMemberProbably the closest starting point is the stretch theme (http://my.studiopress.com/themes/stretch/). Would obviously require some customzations to get to the point of the theme you are linking to.
As for sliders, there is the Genesis Responsive Slider and the Soliloquy plugin. Both are solid responsive slider, but I think the theme does what you're looking for, and then you can style it up as you want.

weslindaMemberThis is a good document explaining how to setup the header. There is a discussion on H1 vs. P. http://my.studiopress.com/docs/genesis-seo-settings/

weslindaMemberNot sure how to respond as it looks like you're using a custom theme. Here is a post with some instructions on adding the author box.
https://my.studiopress.com/snippets/author-box/
Not sure if there were specific customizations made to the theme that would limit it showing on the page.

weslindaMemberA couple of questions. 1) Can you provide a link to the issue? 2) Which slider are you using? Genesis Responsive Slider? 3) When you set these as the featured image, did you edit them to the size noted above?

weslindaMemberAngela, do you have a link? Was any customization done on your site? When I do a fresh install of the theme this works flawlessly. Perhaps if you have a link I can see if something might be interfering with it.

weslindaMemberSince the theme won't activate, there isn't an easy way to do that. If the theme would activate, then you could, but since we can't activate the theme, you'll need to check the contents of the theme on your local machine. You should be able to double click on the zip file you have and see if there is a style.css file in it.
As far as deleting the uploaded theme, if you go to Appearance > Themes there should be a delete link bottom right of the theme. You should not need to delete Genesis. If you do, you can delete it the same way as you delete the Associate theme.

weslindaMemberHow did you upload the Associate theme? Did you upload it as the zip? The first step is to check and see if a stylesheet or css file is there, if not, it's best to delete the theme and reupload. If you have a bad zip file, I would look at grabbing a fresh copy from the StudioPress site.

weslindaMemberCan you share what steps you've taken. It looks like you're using the metro theme and this is pretty straight forward. You would go to Appearance > Header upload the image you want there and it'll automatically be linked to your home page.
However,after taking a quick peek, it does appear that someone has modified your homepage to have a sort of "landing" image and the modifications to put that in place have changed how the header image feature works. Would probably need to see how that's being managed to explain why the link isn't coming over properly.

weslindaMemberI recently used MaxGalleria (http://maxgalleria.com/) on a project (www.tylliebarbosa.com) and liked it. We did customize it a bit for their specific needs. It does offer lightbox options and more.
Bonus is that it's responsive, so if the design on your site is responsive, the gallery will go with you.
You can also style the gallery for your own needs, which is a nice flexible option in a gallery.

weslindaMemberJamie, a nice walk through on adding a widget in a specific area for Going Green. One thing, I think you might have accidentally added the following code by accident. It is specific to adding footer widgets and not a part of adding your slider.
/** Add support for 3-column footer widgets */
add_theme_support( ‘genesis-footer-widgets’, 3 );

March 14, 2013 at 4:27 pm in reply to: New image sizes not showing up in Genesis Featured Widget #26868weslindaMemberSo, i'm not sure if you copied and pasted from a page, but sometimes, and just sometimes, the ' is turned into a ‘ and the second one won't work. You'll want to add this information to the functions.php file, not sure if if that's the same as the "custom code" in Prose as I'm not running that theme at the moment.
Finally, double check that the functions.php file uploaded to the server or was updated properly.

weslindaMemberDo you have a link? Links always help when attempting to troubleshoot a problem.

March 14, 2013 at 4:12 pm in reply to: How do I change the landing location for Drop Down Menus in Primary Nav Bar? #26863weslindaMemberIn digging a little bit, it looks like the menu was duplicated in the Top Search widget area. If you remove it from there, the long text list menu should not show up anymore.

March 14, 2013 at 4:08 pm in reply to: How do I change the landing location for Drop Down Menus in Primary Nav Bar? #26860weslindaMemberCan you explain what you're problem is specifically? Are you concerned about the primary menu showing up a second time? It's not the first column, it's the entire menu duplicating without styling. Is that what you're trying to fix?
If that's it, it would require removing the second menu from wherever you added it.

weslindaMemberAccording to the theme instructions, Sub Footer Left contains the Genesis latest Tweets widget.
