Hi Victor,
I also want to remove the parallax effect.
I tried your suggestion, but it didn't work.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks!
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberHi Victor, thanks for your response.
Here is the only place it shows up when I do "show page source"
{attr=c.getAttribute(a),null!==attr&&c.setAttribute(a,attr.replace(/\/client\//,'/client/to_webp,'))})});</script><script type="text/javascript">(function(e,t,o,n,p,r,i){e.prismGlobalObjectAlias=n;e.pgo=e.pgo||function(){(e.pgo.q=e.pgo.q||[]).push(arguments)};e.pgo.l=(new Date).getTime();r=t.createElement("script");r.src=o;r.async=true;i=t.getElementsByTagName("script")[0];i.parentNode.insertBefore(r,i)})(window,document,"https://prism.app-us1.com/prism.js","pgo");
Maybe I just have to live with it.
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberHi Kai,
I can't help you with your question, just wanted to comment on your site.
The domain name "WagingRespect" and the tagline "Extraordinary Minds, Extraordinary People" are both intriguing.
I'm looking forward to the content!
Good luck and hang in there with the learning curve. The jargon becomes familiar quicker than you might imagine. 🙂
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberThanks Debra!
I'll have a look at that.
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberHi Brad,
Once you click on the "view my portfolio" button, which this button is on the front page as well as other pages, it then goes to the portfolio page that has all the portfolio items, each of which are clickable to take you to that item's page.
You can see that here - http://my.studiopress.com/themes/minimum/#demo-full (click on the "view my portfolio" button on this page)I want each of those clickable items on that main portfolio page to be a category that goes off to a new page that is essentially another "main" portfolio page t hat would show all of the portfolio images that are related to the particular category that was originally clicked on. For example the "Antarctica" image would be a category item that when clicked would produce another page that has a bunch images related to Antarctica.
Thanks,
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberBen - Thank you, I'll have a look at that article.
William - I looked at your site and see you are using Minimum as well.
What you have done is related to some of my concerns about the Minimum image. In the demo, http://my.studiopress.com/themes/minimum/#demo-full
the image stays where it is as you scroll down the page, like its a background image.
On your site the image scrolls up as you move down the page, as if it's not a background image.
How did you accomplish this?Thanks,
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberHi William,
Not until just now. 🙂 That would work!
Thanks!
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberThank you Riavon and Goddess!!
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberHi Riavon,
That worked exactly as described!
Thank you! And thanks Ryan!
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberFantastical guys! Thanks Ryan and Riavon!
Your suggestions looks like that will take the title to all lower case, I also want to make two of the characters CAPS in the site title.
I'll look through the tutorial asap, unless it's not that obvious of a maneuver.
If that's the case, I'll ask again after I go through the tutorial.
Thanks,
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberHi Riavon,
Thanks for the response. There's not much to see there yet, but this is it.
theentrepreneursart.com
I just want to change the site title from this:
THEENTREPRENEURSART
To this:
theEntrepreneursArt
And maybe add some other changes as I see fit. (font, size, etc.)
Can you tell me where that's done?
Thanks,
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberThank you Nick!
And Merry Christmas!
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberHello All,
I've also been concerned about all the "new" in StudioPress land. However, Nick has responded to our concerns in-depth. Have a look.

I for one am totally staying as I love the tools and the people behind CopyBlogger. You don't get as far as they have by being an idiot. I believe they have their finger on the pulse of what's happening and I trust they know what they are doing and how they are doing it. Seriously, I have total confidence. Cmon, we got some sites to build, instead of maybe getting overly focused on what I KNOW will be a temporary learning curve where once surmounted, will show it was indeed the best path forward.
Tom
tomRmalcolmMemberHello all,
I agree, the old forum served my needs well, very well and promptly.
What is curious is the lack of a formal and comprehensive response from the StudioPress Team to these heart felt and anxious concerns. No, I mean a substantial response. There have been a few responses, but of course responses like "we need days off too" is not helpful. (of course you need days off, but that's not the problem, you took days off during the old forum period too, right?)
I am a committed CopyBlogger customer who has purchased almost everything they have and am basing my B2B services on CopyBlogger products, exclusively. I'm here for the long haul.
What I would like to see is a complete response from someone on high (Brian?) that explains the rationale behind the change and responses and resolutions to the concerns expressed.
And if I have missed a previously provided response, please accept my apologies and if you would, send me the link.
Thanks All!!
Tom Malcolm
tomRmalcolmMemberNope, me too.
tomRmalcolmMemberHi Andrea,
When you say "if I need technical support please use our new ticket system", you're referring to non-community themes?
