    Hello,

Is the minimum 3.0 home page image a background or can it be made to be clickable?

And can a slider be installed instead of thew background image if that image is indeed a background image?

I don't think a slider be installed in the WordPress Background image Tom. You're installing that image from Appearance > Background.

If the background could become clickable this tutorial could help you get on your way: http://ran.ge/2012/04/03/css-trick-turning-a-background-image-into-a-clickable-link-take-2/

It's a background image. Although it wasn't designed to be a slider, I've found some folks who customized it to include a slider by doing some Google searches. I didn't check them out, as I was trying to solve a different problem. You may find an answer with some creative querying on Google.

Ben - Thank you, I'll have a look at that article.

William - I looked at your site and see you are using Minimum as well.
What you have done is related to some of my concerns about the Minimum image.

    In the demo, http://my.studiopress.com/themes/minimum/#demo-full

the image stays where it is as you scroll down the page, like its a background image.
On your site the image scrolls up as you move down the page, as if it's not a background image.
    How did you accomplish this?

    Thanks,

    Tom
