Thanks again for your ideas & help.

I would like to try every ave. before adding another plugin.
It looks, to me that the theme is set up to include the featured image on the archive pages.

Bianca, Yes I went to Customize > Theme Settings > Content Archives and
tried all the images listed in #4, and nothing worked.Anita, I want to include the feature image below the post titles and above the entry content for each post listed in a Category and tag page. I am not trying to set up a featured image for a Category or tag page.
I will try a fresh install and see if I can get another outcome.
Thanks again.

As I explain to others why I use Genesis: it's because of the reliability, security, and community.
Changing from Themes to blocks is smart and the right way to move forward for the user and the company.
Please keep up the good work.

Thanks

I did use the same SEO checker and even though the location where these title tags are used (not in the header) is legal, but could be confusing to ... anyone (bots). it would a very easy change.

I don't seem to be having trouble anywhere else, even on the Business Pro theme by SEOThemes.
So just putting it out there, will contact SEO Themes next.
Thanks again

Don't mess with the Genesis parent.
The main reason for the child is to make custom design changes without changing the core code. This way when major WordPress and Genesis updates take place your custom design is still there and working.

http://jackkennard.comJackParticipantHi Dave_s
I'm pretty old too and Gutenberg is a pretty big jump and the future is pretty eminence.
It's always good to be learning new things and Gutenberg will have a lot of new stuff in the future so I'm apprehensive and excited at the same time.
Switched over about 9 sites with no problems and no breakage.
Opened up one page in Gutenberg and lost all my line breaks, easy fix.
Started what will be a large post in G and so far pretty much like it. Have't checked out the html code yet but understand it works seamlessly.

I wonder how the pricing will change?
If the All Plus memberships/accounts will change?I am excited about the new themes and the core but concerned about the dynamics and smoothness of how that will all take place.

http://jackkennard.comJackParticipantThanks Victor, Sorry about the confusion.
I am really talking about another website
http://bestcoffeeart.com/
as an example
I would like to change the widget areas on the left to be 100% of the content & sidebar area
and not have the sidebar on the front page.Have not setup the homepage widgets yet, not to mention additional posts.
I love the Simple Sidebar widget, by Nathan Rice I think. I use it on all my sites.
I like the size of the content area 750px, of the Divine theme and the way it manages the nav menus.

http://jackkennard.comJackParticipantVictor Thanks for your help,
