Would like to widen the widget areas:

Is there a way to take out the homepage sidebar and widen the widgets to the left of the sidebar?
    or
Could I empty the Primary Sidebar and add several Featured Post widgets to the Footer 1 area?

    If either are possible:
then would add several Custom Sidebars for the post and pages.

Thank you for your thoughts and help

Your question is a little confusing. Your site is using the Altitude Pro theme, which doesn't use the primary sidebar on the homepage. The homepage is full width content. If you are talking about a different theme, then please post a link to the site.

You can add any widget that you'd like to a widget area.

Install the Genesis Simple sidebars plugin and you can have as many custom sidebars for different pages as you'd like.

Thanks Victor, Sorry about the confusion.

I am really talking about another website
    http://bestcoffeeart.com/
    as an example
I would like to change the widget areas on the left to be 100% of the content & sidebar area
and not have the sidebar on the front page.

Have not setup the homepage widgets yet, not to mention additional posts.

I love the Simple Sidebar widget, by Nathan Rice I think. I use it on all my sites.

I like the size of the content area 750px, of the Divine theme and the way it manages the nav menus.
