Are you using an SEO plugin?

AnitaKeymasterWell, I can't say for sure but if I view the source of our blog I see the title tag
<title>
or some variation of that on a lot of things, like social media links. But I cannot see the HTML code well because it's all inline. So probably start by find where those titles are and where they came from.

December 11, 2019 at 5:08 pm in reply to: How to find the JS code that initiates the scroll to id function? #495452AnitaKeymaster@the-ratzenator You didn't provide that much information to the forum that you knew that. If you open the file you will see a Home file and inside that file is the SCROLL TO code.
Sometimes just opening up files and looking in there, you'll find some of those things. It's part of the learning process.

December 11, 2019 at 5:03 pm in reply to: How do I set up RSS feed and add it to the Simple Social Icons widget? #495451AnitaKeymasterYou have it right on the button with /feed at the end of the domain name.

AnitaKeymasterIn the Atomic Blocks it does say Authors. So are you going to be displaying the blog posts "by author" or are you actually displaying an Author with their images, text, etc.?

AnitaKeymasterThe display of the images will should be determined by the images going in the gallery. Find out if all of them will be Portrait or Landscape or a mixed use of both within one gallery. If mixed use, there's a limited selection of those in the plugin repo that you can look for.

December 11, 2019 at 2:13 pm in reply to: Display widget contents differently on desktop / mobile? #495441AnitaKeymasterAdd this to the Additional CSS box (otherwise before the body modification in the stylesheet).
@media only screen and (max-width: 568px) { .header-widget-area div h5 { text-align: center; } }

AnitaKeymasterIf you would like to increase all of fonts to the same size, use this and increase the font size to your desired size.
.front-page-2 #custom_html-7, .front-page-2 #text-30 { float: right; font-size: 12px; clear: both; }
If you want the top text to be larger than the button, add this version of the code and modify the fonts accordingly:
.front-page-2 #custom_html-7, .front-page-2 #text-30 { float: right; clear: both; } .front-page-2 #custom_html-7 { font-size: 12px; } .front-page-2 #text-30 { font-size: 12px; }

AnitaKeymaster@paul first, don't click the links that you may see from another poster. It was spam that came in overnight. Right, if it's for rating comments, then I guess it wouldn't. But that would be a question for the plugin developer how to implement that on archive pages as that's a WordPress function. It's not specific to Genesis. Reach out to them on their support for that assistance.

AnitaKeymasterThat is a known issue that is being discussed in the web regarding SEO. Screen reader code is for Accessibility for people with visual impairments.
Here is an article you should read and familiarize yourself - https://moz.com/blog/accessibility-seo-1.

December 11, 2019 at 3:34 am in reply to: How do I set up RSS feed and add it to the Simple Social Icons widget? #495426AnitaKeymasterIt doesn't work by theme. Each individual person who uses the feed link needs to have the RSS feed reader add on in their browser, or some other software like Outlook. There is nothing more you need to do except install a feed reader yourself.

AnitaKeymasterCategories do not have excerpts. There a description box but shortcodes typically will not work in there. The categories are part of WordPress so if you want that to work, ask them on the plugin support page.
Love coffee, chocolate and my Bella!
AnitaKeymasterYou can use something like this - https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-local-avatars/.
Love coffee, chocolate and my Bella!
AnitaKeymasterThe plugin says to use the shortcode on "individual" pages or posts. I don't know if you can set that globally.

AnitaKeymasterI see the star rating above the comment area. So what's not working for you?

AnitaKeymasterIt would be helpful if you could list the link to the plugin so we could see how it works.

AnitaKeymasterYou should be able to do that with any theme that is block-friendly. Install Atomic Blocks to get started and then use the Post Grid which can be displayed by Post Author - https://atomicblocks.com/blocks/post-grid-block/.

AnitaKeymasterYou could really use any theme, but Elegance Pro has not been updated in quite some time. I would say select a theme that 1) had been updated for the Block Editor and 2) has been updated for Accessbility (for people with visual impairments). Since she's going to have hundreds of images in there Accessibility is going to be key. Here's a list of the themes that have been updated with the block editor and are accessible-friendly.
You could do what you want with Infinity Pro. Use Portfolio Pro and add the galleries. But Elegance hasn't been updated at all. I'd stick with something up to date.
StudioPress Themes
Authority Pro
Breakthrough Pro
Essence Pro
Genesis Sample
Infinity Pro
Magazine Pro
Monochrome Pro
Revolution Pro
