    Hi,

I just ran an seo test on my site and it came back with an issue on many posts and pages as having 'more than one title tag'.
Do you know why this is showing up? I don't believe that it was a problem until I have changed themes. I've included an example post with the issue in the URL box below.

What tool did you use to perform the test? And that titles did they say were duplicated. It's possible that it's picking up the Screen Reader text.

    Hi Anita,

It was the Neil Patel SEO analyzer.

How would I amend if it is the screen reader?

That is a known issue that is being discussed in the web regarding SEO. Screen reader code is for Accessibility for people with visual impairments.

Here is an article you should read and familiarize yourself - https://moz.com/blog/accessibility-seo-1.

    Hi Anita,

Thanks for the link - very interesting. However, after further investigation, the pages with errors are for 'more than one title tag', not 'duplicate title tags' which is a different section which says all of mine are fine. Could the screen reader code still affect the 'more than one title tag' issue?

Well, I can't say for sure but if I view the source of our blog I see the title tag <title> or some variation of that on a lot of things, like social media links. But I cannot see the HTML code well because it's all inline. So probably start by find where those titles are and where they came from.
