Actually the voice in the videos was Rebecca. 🙂
We did not have videos for the setup of Agentpress 2.0. We did decide to drop them as they were easily 4 to6 times as long to produce over a written tutorial (like, ALL DAY to do one) and then when the WP UI changes (which is does 1 to 3 times a year) the videos would have to be done all over again.
The only video tutorials left on the old forums was for older themes. That was it.

We do encourage you to use the information here and in help desk, since as time goes by the old forums will no longer be relevant.

Andrea RennickMemberScott - the old forum was around for a long time and is now closed. This is a brand new start so it will take a long time to catch up. 🙂 Members have to help other members here for customizations. 🙂

Wheeler - the other user was talking about the helpdesk, not this forums. They are two different things. 🙂

Andrea RennickMemberLetting us know of a thread that needs an swer is fine tho. 😉
This forum doesn't work the same way as the old one, with knocking things off the list the mods use. There's still a "no replies" list, however.

Andrea RennickMemberWe do not have it for 2.0.
Please see the instructions here:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/genesis-connect-for-buddypress/other_notes/
Anita - highlighting text like that does not bring things to our attention.

December 30, 2012 at 12:59 pm in reply to: Outreach Theme – After WP Update Visual Tab NOT Displaying #8421Andrea RennickMemberIt's not an issue with the themes or framework.
It's an issue with WordPRess 3.5.
Please see the WordPress.org support forums.

Andrea RennickMemberMost of our traditions involve food. 🙂 We moved closer to my son and his wife, who have two small children, so it;s easier for us to go there this year.
Christmas Eve we'll have Chinese food with my famous home made won ton soup. Maybe watch a chirstmas movie.
Christmas day, the kids wake up first and open stocking. Then we'll open a few presents and go over to the grandkids (again) with piles more. 😀
My son is cooking most of Christmas dinner this year - a lovely pork loin we picked up fresh at the market this morning. He's an awesome cook!
Then I have a couple days where I go visit my mom and her husband out in the country in a log cabin overlooking a river, and another where I go visit my dad and my aunt - we're going to an English pub that day.

Andrea RennickMemberIt appears that all the links are broken from the old forum too:http://www.studiopress.com/support/showthread.php?t=96369
I get 404 errors when attempting access any of the data from this post….where has it gone ?
If you are looking at that thread to figure out how to set up Agentpress... please go to http://my.studiopress.com/ and click the "HOW TO" link.
That is where the theme setup tutorials live - not in the forums.

December 1, 2012 at 4:57 pm in reply to: Responsive Slider w/Agency – Continue Reading Button (not looking right) #2798Andrea RennickMemberThis is the perfect example of a question that should go through the help desk first because it deals directly with the theme setup. 🙂
I;d have to check and see if I mentioned this in the setup tutorials (link in the members area called "HOW TO") but for it to look *exaclty* like the demo, you have to insert <!--more--> in your post where you want the text to cut off.
There must be a blank line both above and below the more tag.
No css adjustments needed.

Andrea RennickMemberTo use the Featured category like it has in the slider settings image, you have to have exsiting posts in a category called "Featured".
To find page ids, because WordPresshides them, http://wordpress.org/support/topic/find-page-id?replies=5
So you will be using pages OR posts.

November 29, 2012 at 11:59 am in reply to: How to Use the Genesis Grid Loop on Home Page of Lifestyle Theme #2333Andrea RennickMemberThe grid loop is not hte same as a widgeted area.
So you;re looking to keep the widget areas and have the grid loop underneath?
If so, just add the grid loop code under the widget area code in home, php.

Andrea RennickMemberUse a text widget. Place your ad code in it.
This is something that you could have gone thru the help desk for, as I am more likely to see it. (I do the theme docs).

And tbray09 - we aren't using Buddypress. this is bbpress. 🙂 These forums are not for official support. Please file a ticket in the helpdesk for that. Also note if you are looking for answers, the member's area has setup tutorial and a Tutorials and Code Snippets links on the right side of the page.
