Andrea RennickMemberJust update. Minor versions of anything in WordPress should almost always go smoothly.
The archived section in the downloads area has the previous version of Genesis. Scroll to the bottom of the downloads page.

August 13, 2018 at 8:46 am in reply to: eNews installed but only need post alerts – do I still need Mail Chimp etc? #222434Andrea RennickMemberThe theme you use has no relation to whatever mailing list you have signed up for.
The theme only shows the signup box. The functionality never interacts with your theme. Pick one that has the features you like.

The eNews widget does nothing on its own but provides an easy method to insert your mailing list details, and consistent design elements for the theme devs to style.

Andrea RennickMemberis there anyone which allows you to see all sites on the network please?
No, because this is not a theme function.
You need a plugin to list all your sub sites, or show posts from all sites. These plugins can be used with literally any WordPress theme.

Andrea RennickMemberLong chunk of code will get caught in spam. You can link to your site where we can use Inspection tools to look at your css.

Andrea RennickMember@bluebird just a note that the forums are not official support and not tied to your account.
If you are trying to access support, you need to file a ticket. https://my.studiopress.com/help/
Yes, your posts were in Spam. This is not personal, it is automated via Askismet. They hit the spam filter for a number of reasons one of which is posting multiple urls, or a small post with just a URL in it. Another is posting long lines of code.
FYI: people can see the css on your site when they visit it. You do not have to post css code, just give the URL.
Edit: yes, a single reply with just a URL will go right into moderation. As they all did again when I edited the URLs to fix them (and I'm an admin, so my posts went right to spam too).
It has nothing to do with your account personally. This forum is also free for anyone to sign up to.
If you need official support. use the official help desk ticket system.
If you are looking for help with custom code, then you come to this forum.

Andrea RennickMemberWordPress themes separate content from your theme.
Switching to a Studfiopress theme would work the same as switching to any other theme for WordPress. Use the theme preview to see what happens for any other theme.

No, there's no repo of bells and whistles for add ons in any theme. You just... add them.... to your child theme.

June 17, 2018 at 5:02 am in reply to: Need Most Up to Date Tutorial for Font Change on NewsPro Theme #220902Andrea RennickMemberIf you look in our official documentation, you will also see the most current methods.
It doesn't matter what child theme you are using. The process is identical.

Andrea RennickMemberThe tutorial you are trying to follow is using an older version of the sample theme, so their directions no longer apply.
Reinstalling WordPress will never fix issues like this. WordPress is php - all the code runs all the time. Settings are stored in the database, not theme files. Reinstalling only fixes php file changes.

Switching the SSL in our directions is only specific to our hosting that we offer.
The theme you use does not matter when using SSL.
