If you are experiencing CLS issues with the mobile menu on your Digital Pro theme, here are a few steps you can take to try and fix it:
Optimize your images: Large images can cause a delay in page load times and contribute to CLS issues. Make sure all of the images on your site are properly optimized for web and are not too large Vrl Tracking.
Use web fonts: If you are using custom fonts on your site, make sure they are loaded asynchronously so that they don't delay the loading of other content on your site.
Minimize code: Make sure your site's HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code are all optimized and minified to reduce the amount of data that needs to be loaded.
Use a responsive menu: If your mobile menu is causing CLS issues, consider using a responsive menu that collapses or expands as needed, rather than a fixed menu that remains visible at all times.
Test and monitor: Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, or WebPageTest to test your site's performance and identify any areas where CLS is a problem. Keep monitoring your site's performance and adjust as needed to ensure a smooth and seamless user experience.
April 11, 2023 at 2:22 am #507229razabnbParticipantTo my understanding, the issue doesn't seem to be related to a child theme but rather a core framework component, as I previously mentioned. Even the framework demo briefly displays the menu before it disappears. The navigation menu is dynamically displayed using the display: none and display: block properties. Hence, in my opinion, this behavior is not intended to avoid Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS) but rather to function as a display: block. Since the CSS elements containing the required classes for displaying the navigation menu are not loaded yet, the navigation menu HTML element's display property is missing by default.

If you want to modify the PHP/CSS of the Author Pro theme to achieve the same effect, you may need to consult the theme's documentation or reach out to the theme's support team for guidance on how to Download this. Alternatively, you can try searching for tutorials or resources online that can help you modify the code yourself. Just be sure to backup your site before making any changes. Good luck!
April 7, 2023 at 5:27 am #507180isabell00ParticipantHello,
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. It appears that the flashing of hidden menu items on mobile devices is causing a CLS issue, which can negatively impact a website's Core Web Vitals, especially those running the Digital Pro theme on less resourceful servers.
One possible solution for this issue is to use CSS to hide the menu items until the "Menu" button is clicked, instead of using JavaScript or jQuery. This way, the layout won't shift when the menu items are shown and then hidden. Another possible solution is to preload the menu items using JavaScript so that they are already loaded before they are displayed, which can also help to reduce the layout shift.
At NCERTPOINT, we understand the importance of having a fast and responsive website, especially in today's digital age. Our team of experts is dedicated to finding the best solutions for our clients' website issues, including optimizing Core Web Vitals. If you need further assistance with this issue or any other website-related problems, feel free to reach out to us for help.
April 3, 2023 at 1:03 pm #507143brycejuneParticipantHi,
If the image at the top of a post in the Magazine Pro theme is not showing the correct size or position, there are a few things you can try:Make sure the image is the correct size: The recommended image size for Magazine Pro is 1200px by 400px. If your image is not the correct size, it may not display properly.
Check the image alignment: Make sure the image is set to align center in the post editor. If it is set to left or right alignment, it may not display correctly at the top of the post.
Clear your cache: Sometimes, your browser cache can cause issues with the display of images. Try clearing your cache and reloading the page to see if that resolves the issue.
Check for conflicting CSS: If you have customized the theme or added custom CSS, there may be conflicting code causing the issue. Try disabling any custom CSS to see if that resolves the issue.

BryceApril 2, 2023 at 5:07 am #507132In reply to: Button does not get linked
maxwelll22Participanthis could be due to a number of factors, but there are a few things you can try to resolve the issue.
Firstly, check the HTML code for the buttons and ensure that the link is correctly entered. Make sure that the URL is accurate and that there are no typos or errors in the code.
If the code looks fine, try clearing your browser cache and refreshing the page. Sometimes, cached versions of web pages can cause issues with links not working correctly.
If the issue persists, try checking the CSS code for the buttons to ensure that the styling is correctly applied. Make sure that the class or ID selectors for the buttons are correctly entered and that the styling rules are accurate.
If you're still having issues, it may be worth reaching out to the support team for your website builder or CMS platform for further assistance. They should be able to help you troubleshoot the issue and find a solution.
I hope this helps, and that you're able to get your buttons working correctly soon!
April 1, 2023 at 6:02 am #507119MikcrjgfParticipantModifying the PHP/CSS of a WordPress theme can be a complex task, and it's important to take precautions to ensure that your modifications don't break your website or cause security issues. It's always a good idea to make a backup of your website before making any modifications to your theme or code.
Here are the general steps you can follow to modify the Author Pro theme to achieve a full-width front page without using a plugin:
Create a child theme: It's important to modify WordPress themes using a child theme, so that your changes will not be overwritten when the parent theme is updated. You can create a child theme by following the instructions on the WordPress Codex.
Modify the PHP template for the front page: In your child theme, create a new file called "front-page.php" and copy the contents of the original "front-page.php" file from the parent theme. Then, modify the file to remove any elements that are causing the content to be constrained within a box. This may involve removing or modifying elements such as divs or containers that are limiting the width of the content.
Modify the CSS for the front page: In your child theme, create a new file called "style.css" and copy the contents of the original "style.css" file from the parent theme. Then, modify the file to remove any styles that are constraining the width of the front page content. This may involve modifying or removing styles for elements such as containers, padding, or margins E Shram Card | e Shram card registration | E shram card download
.Test your changes: After making modifications to your child theme, it's important to test your changes thoroughly to ensure that they work correctly and do not cause any issues. Test your changes on different devices and browsers to ensure that your full-width front page looks good and functions correctly for all users.
Keep in mind that modifying the PHP/CSS of a WordPress theme can be complex and may require some technical knowledge. If you're not comfortable making these modifications yourself, you may want to consider hiring a professional WordPress developer to assist you.
March 29, 2023 at 9:57 am #507090zombieParticipantIt seems like you're on the right track with your CSS code. However, the issue with the site header text color not changing to white might be because of the specificity of the CSS selector.
Try using the following code instead:
.site-header .site-title a,
.site-header .site-description {
color: #FFFFFF;
}This selector is more specific and should target the site header text. You can also remove the "!important" declaration as it's generally not recommended to use unless necessary.zombiesapk
Also, make sure to clear your browser cache and refresh the page to see the changes take effect. If it still doesn't work, you can try using the browser's developer tools to inspect the site header element and see if there are any other CSS rules that might be overriding your styles.

in forum Genesis SamplejeanniejeannieParticipantI am writing some custom button CSS in this file:
- wp-content/themes/genesis-sample/style.cssMy custom button rules are getting overwritten by these files:
- wp-content/themes/genesis-sample/lib/gutenberg/front-end.css
- wp-includes/css/classic-themes.min.css
- wp-includes/css/dist/block-library/style.cssWhat is the recommended (least hacky, most sustainable) way to get around this?
March 23, 2023 at 9:18 am #507041In reply to: Change from Genesis Framework to a child theme.
Brad DaltonParticipantTest it out first using the Genesis Sample theme.
You can copy any custom CSS to the end of the child themes style.css file and any custom functions to the end of the child themes functions file.
March 22, 2023 at 11:32 pm #507034smileyParticipantPrevious person didn't use a child theme! How may I now use a child theme? Is it just the copying the css and functions.php?
March 21, 2023 at 12:19 am #507009mitchelyParticipantHere's the modified code that should work to remove the title, metadata above the post (date, author, leave a comment, edit), metadata below the post (category and tags), and the post permalink from posts in a specific category:
scss
Copy code
//* Customize the post info function
add_action( 'genesis_before_entry', 'remove_metadata_asides' );
function remove_metadata_asides() {
if ( !is_singular('post') && has_category('category-slug') ) {
remove_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_do_post_title' );
remove_action( 'genesis_entry_header', 'genesis_post_info', 12 );
remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_post_meta' );
remove_action( 'genesis_entry_content', 'genesis_do_post_permalink', 14 );
}
}
Here's what this code does:It hooks into the genesis_before_entry action, which is executed before the post entry is displayed.
It checks if the post is not a singular post (i.e., not a single post page) and has the category you want to target. You need to replace category-slug with the actual slug of your target category.
If the post meets the conditions, it removes the post title, post info (date, author, leave a comment, edit), post meta (category and tags), and post permalink.
Note that this code will only affect the front page and archive pages, not single post pages. If you want to remove the same elements from single post pages, you can modify the code to remove the actions from the genesis_entry_header, genesis_entry_content, and genesis_entry_footer hooks.Hope that helps

March 15, 2023 at 2:11 am #506965In reply to: How can i change Genesis menu position
Sophia EmmeParticipantYou can use CSS styling to customize the position, size, and appearance of your menu, such as Healthy Work Environment. This may involve adjusting the padding, margins, and alignment of the menu items to achieve the desired position.
Test your menu on different devices and browsers: Before launching your site, make sure to test your menu on a variety of devices and browsers to ensure it looks and functions correctly. Make any necessary adjustments to the menu position and styling based on your testing results.
March 15, 2023 at 1:47 am #506963In reply to: How can i change Genesis menu position
Sophia EmmeParticipantTo change the position of the Genesis menu in WordPress, you can use the genesis_register_nav_menu() function in your theme's functions.php file.
Here's an example of how to change the position of the Genesis menu to the right-hand side of the header:
Open the functions.php file in your Genesis child theme.
Find the code that registers the menu. It should look something like this:
python
Copy code
add_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
Change the hook to genesis_before_header to move the menu to the right-hand side of the header. It should now look like this:python
Copy code
add_action( 'genesis_before_header', 'genesis_do_nav' );
Save the changes to functions.php and refresh your site to see the new menu position.Note that you may need to Improve organisation efficiency through website then adjust the CSS styling of your theme to ensure the menu displays correctly in the new position.
March 11, 2023 at 5:02 pm #506941Topic: CSS settings wiped
in forum Magazine Prorichards1052ParticipantI've had 3 incidents where the css theme settings are wiped and they revert back to default. My web host has no idea why this is happening. To restore the settings we have to restore to a backup, which erases all content since the last backup.
In a related matter, I've exported the css settings when they were customized and displaying properly. But the file after saving appears empty with 530 bytes. My web host says there's nothing in the file to import.
Please offer me any suggestions, fixes you can think of.

March 11, 2023 at 6:12 am #506936In reply to: Button does not get linked
service761ParticipantIf a button is not getting linked, there are a few possible reasons:
Incorrect link: Make sure that the link you are trying to connect the button to is correct and functional. Try copying and pasting the link into your web browser to ensure that it is working properly.
Incorrect HTML code: Check to make sure that you have entered the correct HTML code for linking the button. Double-check that you have included the "a href" tag with the correct URL and that the closing tag is in the correct location.
CSS styling: If you have applied custom CSS styling to the button, it's possible that the styling is causing the link to break. Check to see if any CSS is affecting the button's behavior and adjust accordingly.
Browser or device compatibility issues: Make sure that the button is compatible with the browser or device you are using. Some older browsers or devices may not support certain HTML tags or CSS styling.
Plugin or software conflicts: If you are using a website builder or other software to create your website, there may be conflicts with plugins or other software that are preventing the button from linking properly. Try disabling any plugins or software to see if this resolves the issue.
If none of these solutions work, consider seeking help from a web developer or technical support team. They can help diagnose and solve the issue. Denver Limo service
