    @media only screen and (max-width: 1023px) {

    .header-image .site-title > a {
    background-position: center !important;
    background-size: contain !important;
    }

    }

    I had attempted this prior and it changes nothing. Do you see any conflicting code anywhere? This is in place now.

    I solved this on my own:

    .site-header {
    background-color: #f5f5f5;
    left: 0;
    /* position: fixed; */
    top: 0;
    width: 100%;
    /* z-index: 999;*/
    }

    Comment out those lines.

    I had to remove the one thing I had added. Since so few people use IE/Edge, I talked my client into 'letting it go!'

    I know how to fix this! I just did it today!

    The dimensions for the header are 300px by 60px, but there are few places in the header area css in your style.css that have the height set to 76px. Look for those instances in your css file and edit to 60px.

    Hi Brad,

    Do you have an example of using custom fields for this to get an idea of what needs to be done to accomplish this? Thank you!

    I just received info on Twitter that a fix is coming tomorrow:

    Is anyone having issues with Genesis 2.2.4 and page layouts? I can't get override settings to work by page! #genesiswp

    I just got a TWEET from Brian Gardner that they are working on a fix and it should be done tomorrow. I'll post back here when that happens!

    I activated twentyfifteen as my theme, deleted the new genesis install and reinstalled the last version. Then, reactivated my child theme. But, if you can wait, I'm sure they will have it fixed soon.

    I found the answer on WPTAVERN- it's a Chrome bug:

    This was an issue with GOOGLE DOCS. Even though I was pasting into the text view, it was carrying spaces that weren't seen.

    Oh, yes. Just put that in for a first try. Going to compare the original swank files to the November updated theme and see what changed.

    Thanks for your help!

    Tom, I'm not using the site domain as a public site. It's hidden from search and only used for client mock ups. There is no site there.

    Thanks for the info on the media queries. I didn't edit them at all. Could this be a glitch?
