    I'd like to add a before header widget area to Altitude Pro using Brian's method found here: http://briangardner.com/add-widget-area-site-header/

    It's working on small screens beyond this:

    @media
    only screen and (max-width: 1023px)
    .site-inner, .wrap {
    max-width: 768px;
    }

    But it's not working full screen. I imagine the header being fixed is the reason, but I'm uncertain how to fix it. Can anyone help?

    The link attached is a mock up location hidden from search.

    I solved this on my own:

    .site-header {
    background-color: #f5f5f5;
    left: 0;
    /* position: fixed; */
    top: 0;
    width: 100%;
    /* z-index: 999;*/
    }

    Comment out those lines.
