I've been a software developer for over 30 years so I've had most of the fundamentals down for a long time. When a client presents me with a design request, in most cases I just figure it out on my own. However, in the Cobin Law circumstance, I found a tutorial for the rotating icons on http://sridharkatakam.com/. Sridhar always has excellent tutorials, and until recently, they've been public. It's a little disappointing, but he changed his site to paid membership. If you want to read his tutorials now, you have to pay for the privilege. His rotating icons tutorial wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it gave me the basics I needed to do it myself. I had to make a lot of embellishments to the code to make it work in a responsive environment.

Change .title-area width to 700px and .site-header .widget-area width to 440px and you'll nail it.

Next look for the section in style.css that reads: @media only screen and (max-width: 1023px) and add .agency-pro-home .content .widget_text to the block starting on line 1955 that sets all of the widgets to 100%.

The widths are staying the same regardless of the size device viewing it. Test your site here: http://www.studiopress.com/responsive/

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorFor one thing, you don't have a closing brace for img.floatCenter. That will break all css following that block.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou're not doing anything wrong. The issue you are experiencing is unique to the prose theme. The problem is that the Genesis Connect plugin looks in functions.php for filter. Because you add that line as a custom function, it doesn't exist in functions.php until run time. If you want to activate the plugin. Add the filter line to functions.php, activate the plugin, then delete the line from functions.php. Everything should work after that.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe reason for this is because you changed the h elements to be 600px wide but the textwidget itself is much wider. The buttons are centered within the full width of the textwidget. To fix this you need to wrap the buttons in a div element and then adjust the size and position of the div. In your text widget, wrap the button code with a div with the class of my-buttons, the add the following code to your style.css:
.my-buttons { width: 600px; position: relative; top: -120px; }

Add the following to the style sheet:
body.custom-background {
background-size: 100%;
}
