This is one of the most complex sites I think I've done. I didn't finish the mobile aspects yet, but I'll finish it up this week. Please take a look: http://www.cobinlaw.com/
The Probate Timeline, Court Cost Calculator, and Estate Planning Needs Assessment are all done in Formidable Pro.

Victor

You may wish to look into turning those into a vector based font solution down the line, as they scale great for various view ports from tiny mobile to massive projectors!
Well done!

February 22, 2015 at 4:28 pm #141808tzattaMemberHi Victor
Quite stunning. May I ask, how does one learn how to build something like this?
Are there any tutorials you followed or courses you could recommend?
February 23, 2015 at 6:47 pm #141952Victor FontModeratorI've been a software developer for over 30 years so I've had most of the fundamentals down for a long time. When a client presents me with a design request, in most cases I just figure it out on my own. However, in the Cobin Law circumstance, I found a tutorial for the rotating icons on http://sridharkatakam.com/. Sridhar always has excellent tutorials, and until recently, they've been public. It's a little disappointing, but he changed his site to paid membership. If you want to read his tutorials now, you have to pay for the privilege. His rotating icons tutorial wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it gave me the basics I needed to do it myself. I had to make a lot of embellishments to the code to make it work in a responsive environment.

March 25, 2015 at 11:36 am #145622Joy GMemberIt is really nice. I like how it is actually easy to navigate to most things, even though there si a lot, and there are several simple ways to find what I looked for,
I found when I was on: http://www.cobinlaw.com/court-cost-calculator/
and clicked trust settlement, the whole page was taken up with a long list of things and only far at the bottom was "you are here" and the space for trust settlement page, but no information on it.April 24, 2015 at 3:10 am #148994Victor FontModeratorThank you Joy G!
