How did it become sticky in the first place? Out of the box SPI does not have a sticky header. Are you using a plugin for CSS?
I just checked your source code and you are using a plugin called sticky anything. Deactivate it.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?January 13, 2017 at 12:35 pm in reply to: Using Genesis eNews Extended On A WordPress (Digital Pro) Page #199345Victor FontModeratorI don't understand what you mean by that one requires a text editor. The WordPress editor has two tabs, Visual and Text. You work in the text tab for HTML. If you install that plugin, you can use the visual tab to insert the widget into an empty page or post then switch to the text tab and copy and paste the inserted code into your page.
If you don't want to do that, then you'll have to create your own page template. I'd start with the landing page template provided with many of the Studio Press themes.

Relevant information is always relevant regardless of when it was written.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?January 13, 2017 at 10:22 am in reply to: Using Genesis eNews Extended On A WordPress (Digital Pro) Page #199336Victor FontModeratorTo add a widget to page content, you would have to create a page template that allows for it. You could try a plugin like this one: https://wordpress.org/plugins/turbo-widgets/
Or, why not just place the widget into a footer so it's on every page?

Have you requested your free website audit yet?January 13, 2017 at 7:27 am in reply to: Digital Pro widgets on Front Page (3) layout problem #199333Victor FontModeratorYou are using a flexible widget area. Using 5 widgets in the front-page-3 area should give you configuration #5 as seen on this page: http://my.studiopress.com/setup/digital-pro-theme/home-page-setup/front-page-layout-configurations/#front-page-3-layout.
There is nothing in Genesis or the Digital Pro theme that will insert the small tag between widgets. I can confirm this because I just setup front-page-3 in my local environment with 5 widgets and they display as expected. There is no small tag added to the html.
My guess is that you have a plugin doing this. Are you using any plugin to help modify your CSS? Any page builders? You need to disable all plugins and see if the small tag goes away. If it does, turn on the plugins one at a time until you find the one that is adding the erroneous tag.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou can try replacing the custom-header support in your functions.php with this:
//* Add support for custom flexible header add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array( 'flex-width' => true, 'width' => 260, 'flex-height' => true, 'height' => 100, 'header-selector' => '.site-title a', 'header-text' => false ) );

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe page that you pointed us to in the example above is a WooCommerce Product page. If you look through the errors, you are not allowed to use many of the HTML tags that are being used on your site. For example, the script tag is not allowed in AMP unless it is for application/ld+json. Another example is the img tag. In AMP, this is replaced with amp-img. As you know, the img tag does not have a closing tag, but in AMP, amp-img does.
I doubt that you are going to fix these errors to satisfy AMP without breaking the functionality of your site. AMP is a subset of HTML. As such, many standard HTML tags are disallowed. You have to rewrite a lot of code and remove significant parts of your functionality to satisfy AMP's requirements. Please take the time to read through the AMP specs. https://www.ampproject.org/docs/reference/spec

This community forum is for Studio Press themes and the Genesis Framework. We're not going to be able to help you with your question because we don't know how your theme was built.

You may have to adjust the padding and give it a margin-bottom to make it look right.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorI haven't tested this, but all you need to do is remove the footer widget area action for interior pages with something like this in functions.php:
if ( ! ( is_front_page() !! is_home() ) ) { remove_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'genesis_footer_widget_areas' ); }

Have you requested your free website audit yet?January 12, 2017 at 6:13 am in reply to: How change color of current (active) menu-item in primary menu-bar? #199264Victor FontModeratorThe current-menu-item is correct, but you have the color change too early in your style sheet. The current menu item is being controlled by .lifestyle-pro-blue .genesis-nav-menu .current-menu-item > a at line 1514. Your code is at line 1029. With CSS, the last declaration wins.

You won't see the results on Google until Google reindexes the pages. You will also receive rich snippet errors on Google for posts without dates, which you'll have to ignore.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorIn a typical Studio Press theme, you do not use static front page. Therefore, in this sense there is no front page template. There is however a widgetized front-page.php. If you are not using a static front page, the widgetized front page takes control as soon as you add a widget to it. The Lifestyle Pro front-page.php does not display blog posts. If you want blog posts on the front page, just use the blog template. If you want blog posts and widgets, you have to create your own template or modify front-page.php.
