Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe issue is that you are fitting an image with the dimensions of 100 x 333 into an area that has a fixed height of 300px. The CSS for .header-image .site-title > a has a min-height of 300px and background-size: contain !important;. These two work together. The background-size: contain means "keep the image as small as possible to fit the available area". Change background-size to cover and it will scale the image up to fill the space. When you do this, you will find that the text in the image will become fuzzy because of the scaling. The only workaround is to redo the image.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorNext time you need to do this, front page widgets are setup in front-page.php. You need to edit that file to position the widget area. No hooks are necessary.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorIf your browser is not picking up changes in style.css the likely cause is either a caching issue or some type of helper plugin or inline CSS overriding style.css.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe default for Genesis is to include a secondary menu. Look in functions.php to see if the author unregistered it. If so, comment out the code. If not, take a look at these snippets. They could point you in the right direction. https://my.studiopress.com/documentation/snippets/navigation-menus/

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorIf you're using the Simple Sidebars plugin, it's very likely overriding the Genesis defaults. The code you're using should work if Simple Sidebars is disabled. I'm not sure how I would do this with SS enabled.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe code commented as remove the default Genesis sidebar is not removing the default Genesis sidebar. The next line that you have commented as removing the default WordPress sidebar is removing the default Genesis sidebar. Unless you have a customization that is adding a sidebar in a function named ss_do_sidebar, that line is not doing anything. You also don't need the get_header action.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe schema markup in the framework is absolutely fine for standard websites. If you need schema for a product review or outlier cases, the framework is rich with filters that allow you to change things as the need arises. You don't need a plugin.
