If anyone knows how to change the code to allow the full height of the home page pictures using a scroll, please let me know. Email me including your charges to make this happen. [email protected]

Julie for Turn LaneTurnlaneMemberDo you know where the code is to make a change to how much the background image is cropped?
Thanks for any help,
Turn LaneTurnlaneMemberAnitac,

TurnlaneMemberSusan,
I did not get a resolution to my issue, but we decided to not change the background color.
If you have a quick solution, I would love to hear it. If not, I guess you can close the thread.

TurnlaneMemberThanks for your post, Sridhar Katakam.
That worked for me!
TurnlaneMemberWe resolved this by figuring out this was a JetPack plugin called Carousel. We then changed the CSS for this plugin with a bigger "x".
TurnlaneMemberNever mind. I had defined the width of the inner page to 1100px. I deleted it and it solved the issue.
TurnlaneMemberStewart,
Thanks for your suggestion. I tried it and when I added padding or a margin, the img came down lower, but the header space became bigger as well. Meaning the header height increased and the img was still in the header part and now hanging down over the menu part.

TurnLaneTurnlaneMemberDave,
That was genius! Thanks for helping us solve the issue. Using 98% was the best solution for us.
Thanks!

Thanks for you help, TurnLane
TurnlaneMemberBrandon,
I copied the code from https://gist.github.com/kraftbj/5221737 and replaced my existing code, but I still got the same result. The primary sidebar is still there.
Let me know if you think of anything else I should try.
Thanks, Julie
TurnlaneMemberKraft,
I am sorry for the confusion. I am working on http://www.kindreddfw.com which is using the Education theme. I am trying to remove the blog and the primary sidebar. I was able to remove the blog roll, but am not able to remove the primary sidebar.
I added to the home.php:
remove_action( ‘genesis_sidebar’, ‘genesis_do_sidebar’ );
but it didn’t do the trick. Any advice?
Thanks, Julie
TurnlaneMemberBrandon,
I have not been able to resolve the issue yet. Please see http://www.kindreddfw.com. I am trying to remove the blog completely. Do I need to start a new thread?
Thanks,
Julie
TurnlaneMemberI was adding code for Google to verify our site for our Google+ page. I ended up putting it under the "Header and Footer Scripts" section of the Theme Setting page.
TurnlaneMemberCarrie,
Thank you so much for your response. I appreciate it!
Julie
TurnlaneMemberI ended up using the Genesis Responsive Header Plugin.

TurnlaneMemberWhen I pull it up on my smart phone which is 320 px, the home welcome widget is not getting smaller.
TurnlaneMemberryandonsullivan,
Thanks for your suggestions. I am currently using Really simple Facebook Twitter share and that seams to be working well.
Thanks! Julie
