    All,

    We are currently developing a website for http://www.hillingdonranchbook.com. I have created a "Order Now" button at the top of the page and have used the Header Right widget to implement it. It is a .png that is linked to the Order page. We would like it to hang over the menu as it does now. I did this using Absolute Positioning. With Relative Positioning, the .png hangs behind the menu.

    The problem is when the screen size changes. If you have a larger or smaller screen size, the "Order Now" button would still be 1125px from the left. Any suggestions for what I should do?

    Thanks for any help,
    Julie for TurnLane

    P.S. I will only have the website live for a few hours. Then it will go back to maintenance mode.

    Hi Julie,

    Try removing the absolute and left, and try floating the image within the widget area right:

    #header .widget-area {
    	float: right;
    	width: 620px;
    }

    #header .widget-area img {
    	float: right;
    }

    You might have to play with padding/margin to get it exactly where you want it.

    See if that works for you

    Stewart,

    Thanks for your suggestion. I tried it and when I added padding or a margin, the img came down lower, but the header space became bigger as well. Meaning the header height increased and the img was still in the header part and now hanging down over the menu part.
