ParticipantHi Vic,
What is the fix in the code to get them to show properly. They should be showing how they show when someone hovers across them. That dark background with the font there. They should show like that. Can you shoot me the proper code fix?

ParticipantHey guys,
So adding:
.site-title, .site-description { display: none; }
seems to have worked. It took away the site title and tagline across the site.
Now I need to cover that whitespace at the top of the site up... bring the pic up some and get it even. What code am I looking for to change to bring that white space up so there is none???
Thanks for the help so far guys.
Tree78
ParticipantHey sorry about that. The URL is
I took the coming soon page down so site can be seen. I want the top white portion across the site gone, where it says the site name and tagline.
Thank you.

ParticipantHi Brad,
When I do that I am getting nothing... unless I am doing it wrong. Line 373 is the form line.. so I am a little confused on where to add the code you sent, maybe I am adding it wrong?
Here is a screenshot of line 373... not sure what I am doing wrong.

ParticipantI am gonna need a little more info than that, lol. I really have no idea where to begin.

ParticipantOkay, so I added the widget, using the code from the first box. It shows on the home page, but not anywhere else on the site... so what I do wrong that it isn't showing on the other pages?
Tree78
Participanthmmm, that doesn't seem to work for me, as the header widget is hidden too far up and I can't get it to drop down to show the ad.... I can already put an add there using simple hooks plugin... is there no code or anything that will just block the ad from running on the home page?
Or maybe I am doing something wrong... but I added the widget and it is there, just doesn't show right.

ParticipantHi Victor,
Usually that works and I am fine but this is what I am getting in this theme... I changed the functions.php file but when I go to the ccs.stylesheet this is the code that is there and changing it doesn't work. What am I missing? I want to put in 800px X 145px....
/* Site Header * ========================================================================== */ .site-header { width: 100%; padding: 0 0 4rem; position: relative; text-align: center; } .site-title { margin: 0; font-style: normal; font-weight: 700; } .title-area { margin: 4rem 0; } .site-title a { text-decoration: none; } .header-image .site-description, .header-image .site-title a { display: block; text-indent: -9999px; } /* Logo, hide text */ .header-image .site-header a { background-size: contain !important; background-position: center !important; } .header-image .site-title a { float: none; min-height: 17rem; width: 100%; max-width: 42rem; margin: 0 auto; }
