@braddalton: yeah I tried those first, those don't work either. Looks like a lot of issue with the mail chimp popup and wordpress. Anyothersuggestions before I go a different way with it?
April 24, 2016 at 9:08 am in reply to: Top Right Search Box Disappears When Viewing Site in Mobile on No Sidebar Theme #184323Tree78ParticipantThank you Victor. That worked.
Tree78ParticipantThanks man, I actually was on my way to delete this post. I figured it out. Thank you.
Tree78ParticipantHi Carasmo,
Thank you for the help. The code above actually didn't work and returned a "non responsive page" on the site. So I fixed it. I did use the code you referenced though and that worked, so thank you.
Tree78ParticipantHey Rich,
Maybe I am missing something. The No Sidebar Pro Theme has no sidebar... so there is nothing to enter there or delete, as there isn't even a sidebar.
However, on the shop page, or any category page, or product page I am getting text for a primary sidebar at the bottom and I am:
1. Not sure why
2. Not sure how to remove it.I have taken the site out of maintenance mode for a while to show you examples. Any idea? Just look at the bottom where the primary sidebar display function is for what reason I don't know.

Tree78ParticipantHi Gucu,
I came across this post and before I ask the community I was going to ask you since you are using No Sidebar Pro theme and Woo Commerce.
I have everything installed and setup on the site, however... on my item pages I am showing a "primary sidebar" area at the bottom of each page... what did you do to delete that out or get rid of it... since obviously I won't be using the primary sidebar function in WOo Commerce.... it still wants to display though. How did you get it removed?
Jeremy
Tree78ParticipantThank you Victor, that is exactly what I needed to know. I was able to fix it. Again, thank you for the response. Very helpful.
Jeremy
Tree78Participant@victor font. Thank you man, I have been looking for that solution for over a week. I appreciate the help, every time you answer something in these forums it is dead on.
What am I looking for in the style css that will close up that whitespace that is there a little bit? I am looking at the front page css area but I don't see anything that would fix it. Thoughts? Thank you in advance.
Jeremy
Tree78ParticipantBump. Still looking for the answer. Thank you.
Tree78ParticipantAnyone? I am still having the same issues and not sure why.
Tree78ParticipantMy main menu is still sitting left now on the home page. Any suggestions on how to fix that?
Tree78ParticipantHi Carasmo.
That works, thank you. However, it makes the main navigation menu on the home page display left justified. How do I get it back to center display properly on home page?

January 30, 2016 at 2:10 pm in reply to: Update a Site Without Taking it Down or Showing a Maintenance Page #177924Tree78Participant@andykev. Thank you bro. I appreciate that response. I went through dozens of wordpress.org threads about this topic and there were just too many answers, most of which were no correct or only partially correct. I appreciate the response.
So , just so I am clear on everything before I start the process. To use the local host style I would use one of those programs to create the environment. Then copy the current files down into the local host and work like that? Then once that is complete replace the current site files with the new site via FTP using Transmit or Filezilla or similar? My permalinks have been in place for years and I don't plan on changing them, nor the url so neither of those things should be an issue. If I need some stuff redirected I can do that but do I have the overall idea correct of your explanation?
I had updated the site a couple years ago while leaving it up... and while it technically didn't hurt anything it was a huge mess to deal with live. So I wanted to try this.
Tree78Participant@pareshking. Site looks good. In the bottom footer you point the "Sitemap" to an actual xml sitemap. I would change that and point it to your archives page. The archives page just acts as a user friendly sitemap anyway for site visitors. The actual sitemap you linked to is a google xml sitemap... you don't need to send site visitors there, the xml sitemap is what Google uses. Other than that nice work.

January 29, 2016 at 11:50 am in reply to: Make Blog Area on Front Page of Minimum Pro Disappear #177825Tree78ParticipantAnyone?
Tree78ParticipantThank you!
Tree78Participant@bisonbraah. Okay, that did the trick. Everything works fine now. I guess my remaining question is this....
Why did it work for so long? What was the conflict? Should I just delete w3 total cache? What/how should I cache the site, etc Do I really need it?
I appreciate the help.
Tree78ParticipantSo disable W3 total cache altogether? Am I understanding that correctly? Disable / deactivate that plugin, clear browser cookies and then see if it reads correctly?
Tree78ParticipantHOw would I fix things like the genesis slider and/or the dashicons or things like that?
