In your home.php, look for this:
if ( function_exists( 'genesis_grid_loop' ) ) { genesis_grid_loop( array( 'features' => 1, 'feature_image_size' => 0, 'feature_image_class' => 'alignleft post-image', 'feature_content_limit' => 0,
Change the feature_content_limit = to the number of characters you would like in your FIRST post.
SusanModeratorYou can select multiple menu items from the pages selection, but from there, I believe you have to indent them individually.
SusanModeratorI have not used BBpress on one of my own sites, but this forum is built on Genesis with BBpress, and it seems to work.
SusanModeratorI'm looking at your site now, and your navigation is there, and it looks like your CSS colors are there, so it looks like this is resolved?
SusanModeratorFirst of all, you shouldn't be making changes directly to the Genesis framework - I would recommend at least using a free child theme (sample comes to mind).
You would put in text-align: justify to whatever part of your theme's stylesheet that you would like to justify. If you add a link to your site, I can look at the code to better pinpoint it for you.
SusanModeratorWhere have you tried replacing them? The generatebox-bg.png is contained in your theme image folder on your hosting site. Have your tried uploading a new image to your theme folder to replace it? I'm not sure what generatebox-badge.png looks like, or where it is located, as I'm getting an error box instead of an image.
SusanModeratorOn your profile, is the Genesis Admin Menu box checked?
SusanModeratorDashboard > Settings > General Settings > Site Title (change the Site Title). Then scroll down, and save changes.
SusanModeratorI like the bright colors.
Suggestions: Your header isn't clickable. I wasn't sure if this was a deliberate decision, but I find it easier to click a header to take me "home" than clicking anywhere else.
I'm not sure that I like the text in your sidebar "Web Design in Las Vegas..." - I don't know whether the font is too large, but it seems "off".
SusanModeratorYes, it does go in functions.php, but I see what you mean about getting an error message, as I just received one when I attempted it.
So, I went back and found another thread, and a similar recommendation (this one by user @Bill-Murray), and didn't receive an error message with this code:
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 960, 'height' => 110 ) );
SusanModeratorSee this thread:
http://www.studiopress.community/topic/inserting-a-banner-in-the-eleven40-theme,
particularly the response by @wpsmith with the code to add a custom header.
add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array( 'width' => 960, 'height' => 100, 'textcolor' => '444', 'admin_header_callback' => 'minimum_admin_style' ) );
, or change the CSS for #title (#title:before and #title:after).

Most of the recommended developers put their prices on their websites (it's usually under "services").
SusanModeratorThat's a better suggestion, Anita. Thanks 🙂
SusanModeratorYou posted in the right section, but I recommend just asking one question at a time, it makes it easier for those who are helping.
1. To move your menu to the bottom of the screen (just above any footer credits), add this to your functions.php:
To move the menu to the bottom of the page: (insert into theme functions.php
/** Reposition the primary navigation menu */ remove_action( 'genesis_after_header', 'genesis_do_nav' ); add_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'genesis_do_nav' );
SusanModeratorThe cleanest way to resolve this is to FTP into your hosting site, delete the theme that is currently in there, and upload a fresh copy of your theme.
Have you done much customization of your site? You will lose any customization of your stylesheet by doing this, in which case you can delete the functions.php file, and replace it with a clean copy.

SusanModeratorNot a genius, but I'll accept the thanks. 🙂 - Glad I could help.
SusanModeratorSusanModeratorYou need to set up your menu by categories.
When setting up the menu item, type in the URL of the category. I looked at your site (you have the wrong URL in your post, BTW), and see that you have a page set up called "nutrition". I don't see any posts other than "uncategorized" on your site currently. To set up a menu item for uncategorized, for example, you would place this URL in your menu:
http://thesproutingseed.com/category/uncategorized/
Using the example you provided: The link "Bellies & Babies" is set up to direct here: http://www.passionatehomemaking.com/category/bellies-babies
