I am setting up a new blog.

I have a home page where my blog will be located. In my navigation bar, I have listed the different categories about which I will write.

When someone clicks on one of the categories in the nav bar, I would like for it to take them to a page that archives all of my posts about that particular subject.

    How do I do that?

**To be super specific, I have a home page where I will blog about everything. In my nav bar I have cooking, nutrition and environment. I would like my cooking posts to be archived on the cooking page, nutrition posts on the nutrition page, etc.

    my site is thesproutinseed.com

for an example of what I am wanting, see passionatehomemaking.com

    Thanks!

You need to set up your menu by categories.

When setting up the menu item, type in the URL of the category. I looked at your site (you have the wrong URL in your post, BTW), and see that you have a page set up called "nutrition". I don't see any posts other than "uncategorized" on your site currently. To set up a menu item for uncategorized, for example, you would place this URL in your menu:

    http://thesproutingseed.com/category/uncategorized/

Using the example you provided: The link "Bellies & Babies" is set up to direct here: http://www.passionatehomemaking.com/category/bellies-babies

Not a genius, but I'll accept the thanks. 🙂 - Glad I could help.
