I think I made a mistake. I was trying to create the pop up via Popup Maker, not via the Genesis framework. If that's the plugin you're using as well, I may be able to help.

I've figured out how to create the text for the popup (see above msg). But I can't figure out how to associate the popup with a theme.

Regarding popup placement: I see the shortcode, but is there an easy way to get it to display above my content and where; and any way to control how long it displays before disappearing? Any way to control who sees the popup & how often.

Thanks, I appreciate that. But I was hoping there was a way to see different customized style options with pre-coded css, so that I could choose one. Rather than having to tinker with the css myself.

Google design palette pro site title settings" alt="Genesis design palette pro title settings" />
UDPATE: I now have the site description displaying. But its font color is different than the site title font color. I'd like to get them the same color. But the Design Pro plugin says that "site description is not used in Genesis Pro."

Can you tell me how I can make them the same color? I'd also like to make sure both the title & description are using the same font.

You can see how they're displaying now on my home pg:

Is there any way to view/edit style.css without using sftp? I'm trying to set that up with an sftp client and so far haven't been able to connect.

Can I view and edit it through my admin interface of the site? So far I haven't been able to figure out any way to do that.

As far as Genesis is concerned, I only see Additional CSS as an option and nothing in the code relates to site description.

Also, can I customize the css via the "Additional CSS" theme setting? Or should I do it a different way?

Can you tell me what the modified code should be to display it?

I had settings for the home page which offered excerpts rather than full posts. In the reversion the settings reverted to full post display.

I also had Google Adsense code in the header script which somehow got erased.

I also had Hebrew characters in my blog title which somehow didn't render properly after the reversion.

I read that you can export your theme settings in a file. So if that includes your customizations (not sure it does), then you should be able to import it back into your installation if you have to revert to a backup.

The display issue doesn't involve the size of the images, but rather the strange rectangular empty boxes which display when no image displays. When there is no image displaying, the post title is diplaying twice in the slide.

Also, there are images in almost all my posts. But some are hosted on my server and some hosted on the WP server. The ones hosted externally (but displaying in my post) are not displaying in the slides at all.

Thanks! I found a plugin that permits custommizing the comment field w/o manually fiddling with php & code.

I'm using Design Palette Pro plugin to make changing these settings easier. But it's not changing the color when I change the setting through the plugin.

I guess I may have to go into the css file to do this. But the whole point of buying the plugin was to avoid having to make these complex manual adjustments inside the css file.

I have found the setting to change the font color of links in posts. But for some reason, the color hasn't changed despite saving it with the new color choice. Could there be any other setting that would be trumping the settings I've changed in Design Palette Pro?

An update to the above post: the customizations DO work on individual post pages. But they don't work on the homepage. When I go to the "Homepage" drop down menu & attempt to customize colors or any setting, that's when things revert to default. Why can't I change the homepage?
