What do you mean by the same format?
Your widget title is styled:
.widget-area h4 { background: url(/wp-content/themes/streamline/images/headline.png?bad562) left no-repeat; color: #645f5b; margin: 0 0 20px; padding: 0 0 0 22px; text-decoration: none; text-transform: uppercase; }
Just apply the features you want to ".user-profile p".
Hopefully I haven't misunderstood this. 🙂

Lauren

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberIf you want to go the CSS route to hide the date on each post, you could normally use:
.category-sticky .entry-header .entry-meta { display: none; }
However, it looks like your date has been moved outside the meta, so you'd need to use something like:
.category-sticky .entry-header h4 .entry-time { display: none; }

<div class="spacer-30">...</div> <br> <br>

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberIf they're being added by the plugin, you need to remove them from the plugin, they would not have been permanently inserted to your theme files. You can always just delete the plugin and the ads should stop appearing.

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberThe photos in the sidebar are 150x150 instead of full width - is this what you were talking about? Could mean they adjusted over time, pointing to caching being the problem.

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberI can see that you've added "align: left;" - the correct property is "text-align", that's all! 🙂

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberThe @media queries at the bottom of your CSS control how your layout resizes when the screen width decreases. Unfortunately it isn't an easy fix, there are probably a number of changes that need to be made in that area.

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberWhere are you putting this code? Do you have a caching plugin?

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberI don't know about the Custom Classes or anything, sorry! When I inspect the element, I can see that there isn't a "display: none;" being applied to the arrows anywhere, so you may need to find another place to put the code. That's definitely what you want, you just need to get it to over-ride the current "display: block;". You could try applying it to the container, .soliloquy-controls-direction

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberHere's what I've done before:
//* Reposition the footer-widgets + footer remove_action( 'genesis_before_footer', 'genesis_footer_widget_areas' ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_footer_markup_open', 5 ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_do_footer' ); remove_action( 'genesis_footer', 'genesis_footer_markup_close', 15 ); add_action( 'genesis_after', 'genesis_footer_markup_open' ); add_action( 'genesis_after', 'genesis_footer_widget_areas' ); add_action( 'genesis_after', 'genesis_do_footer' ); add_action( 'genesis_after', 'genesis_footer_markup_close', 12 );

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberYou could enqueue your stylesheet after the WooCommerce one (http://bigwilliam.com/override-woocommerce-styles-semantically/), or use a more specific selector (http://www.w3.org/TR/CSS2/cascade.html#specificity).

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberJust change display to "none". 🙂

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberIt actually doesn't seem overly slow to me... Probably because you don't seem to be using a lot of unnecessary plugins. Are you using a caching plugin? BlueHost has some optimization add-ons you can purchase, where they'll set up W3TC and some other settings on your site to help you get the fastest load times.

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberHere you go Karlyn:
.home #inner { background-color: transparent; -moz-box-shadow: initial; -webkit-box-shadow: initial; box-shadow: initial; } .home #inner .wrap { padding: 0; }
#home, #home2 { -moz-border-radius: 5px; -webkit-border-radius: 5px; -moz-box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999; -webkit-box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999; background-color: #fff; border-radius: 5px; box-shadow: 0 1px 2px #999; margin: 20px auto 0; padding: 25px 30px; -webkit-box-sizing: border-box; /* Safari/Chrome, other WebKit */ -moz-box-sizing: border-box; /* Firefox, other Gecko */ box-sizing: border-box; /* Opera/IE 8+ */ }

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberGood to hear - you're welcome!
We create mobile-first, PageSpeed-optimized, pixel-perfect custom themes! https://www.oncecoupled.com
Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberFor the header, you need to set the background-size: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_background-size.asp
Note that you may need to add media queries to adjust the height of the area or you'll see extra red around the image, as is currently happening at your smallest screen sizes.In regards to your full width pages, I'm not seeing that problem in Chrome. If I view your site in IE, the background doesn't come through, but the text bleeds into un-viewable areas - caused by the slider. Is this the same problem?

April 15, 2014 at 8:42 am in reply to: Site Header logo as image instead of background image #100402Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberI see. Here's a nearly identical question to yours: http://www.studiopress.community/topic/make-a-background-image-logo-clickagle/
In your case, you have
.header-image .title-area { display: none; }
you'll need to change this so the link nested within it appears.

Lauren @ OnceCoupledMemberHey Vicki,
Are you using your browser's inspector to try and find which elements need resizing? Just right click on an element that has a problem and choose "inspect". When you resize your browser, the styles will update after hitting a width that triggers a media query. Then you can get an idea of how your elements are changing and which elements aren't changing, that should be.
For instance, when my browser is at 971px wide, your menu drops below the correct area, because it is too wide to site next to your header.
At 960px the media query is triggered, fixing that menu and centering it under your header area now.
But at 600px it disappears, so I know it's from some change in your "@media only screen and (max-width: 600px)" block.Try investigating that and asking new questions with a more specific title. Since these are CSS specific questions, you could ask for help on other forums, as well. 🙂
Best,
Lauren
