MemberSorry. You're absolutely right. There is only one. It is, in fact, the template that I am after. I am not nearly talented enough.
jkrytus
MemberNever mind.
Coincidentally right at my breaking point, my guy did all kinds of work last night! I'm back in my happy place.
However, I still think my ticketing idea has merit. It could be a good way to find someone you enjoy working with.

MemberWhat I'm proposing is a way to date me rather than marry me.
My todo list is dynamic, and most programmers want it to be static and in a box so that they know how to quote it. I went to bed last night and woke up with a new idea that I'm about to add to my list. That scares people. I would love to have one entity to work with. I just cannot seem to find one in the Genesis community.
I DID find a guy that seems to click really well with me, and I posted this at the risk of offending him. J___, you're great so far but apparently you're buried in a project with a beginning and and end and a firm price and a commitment by you to finish it.......and I 'get' that.
Which is why I would love to find someone to just go take out all of the white space and horizontal line on my blog pages while I wait for J______, or better yet someone to run a query to change a post type to x where category id = 491
Maybe I only needed to vent. I feel better now.

MemberPerfect. Thank you.

MemberThat worked. Thank you!

MemberIt’s because there is no #wrap ID in the html5 themes…
Can anyone explain why?

MemberNever mind. I swear, I've checked the genesis hooks a dozen times over a weeks time.
That's where it was.
Thanks Lauren!February 10, 2015 at 6:15 pm in reply to: Remove text that fires with every post in a certain category #140411jkrytus
MemberSorry.. I should have said that first. Yes, I checked functions.php. I also went through the genesis simple hooks.

MemberThank you Badlywired. I just didn't read closely enough.
Good stuff in your blog by the way.jkrytus
MemberSorry.. here is the url: http://m.sqrft.net/ (which will eventually go to http://www.sqrft.net)
October 31, 2014 at 8:44 am in reply to: Handle the output to a post differently depending on the category #130014jkrytus
MemberSorry... I'm not entirely sure what you're asking for. It's in my functions.php which is in /public_html/move/sqrft.net/wp-content/themes/corporate but I don't know that you can get there unless I give you access to my hosting account.
I put a page link in the previous post:

MemberI would benefit hugely if I knew what you did as well. I have one particular category of posts that I would like to display the $post_info differently than for another. I really don't know entirely what I'm doing so please write slowly 🙂 Here is what I have:
function get_location_field() { global $post; $custom_field_value = genesis_get_custom_field('location'); return $custom_field_value; } add_shortcode('location', 'get_location_field'); function get_personid_field() { global $post; $custom_field_value = genesis_get_custom_field('person_id'); return $custom_field_value; } add_shortcode('personid', 'get_personid_field'); function get_companyid_field() { global $post; $custom_field_value = genesis_get_custom_field('company_id'); return $custom_field_value; } add_shortcode('companyid', 'get_companyid_field'); function wordpress_modified_date_shortcode() { return get_the_modified_date(); } add_shortcode( 'modified_date', 'wordpress_modified_date_shortcode' ); add_filter('genesis_post_info', 'genesis_custom_post_info'); function genesis_custom_post_info ($post_info) { if ( genesis_get_custom_field( 'location' ) || genesis_get_custom_field('person_id') || genesis_get_custom_field('company_id') ) { $post_info = 'Id: [personid] [companyid] [location] · [post_edit]' ; } else { $post_info = '[location] · [post_edit]'; } return $post_info; }

MemberDitto what cookieandkate says. I wish there were more support on it.
jkrytus
MemberWell, I don’t want to turn off trackbacks because they help me discover cases of stolen content. Surely there is a way to just remove them from the posts/pages instead? I’m really frustrated that Studiopress doesn’t offer this option and won’t help me find a solution.
Ditto that.
jkrytus
MemberStudiopress is the developer

MemberMine has them set by default and like cookieandkate, I would love for them to go away. They are not attractive at all. I'm using the Corporate Theme.

MemberThis worked mostly perfectly for me. Thank you!
How do I keep the solid line in there that delineates the end of the post and separates it from the comment section?jkrytus
MemberThank you anitac. I did some housecleaning. Hopefully that helps a bit.
