    So the question is: When do people post a question to the forum?

    Answer: When they are so frustrated that they would pay someone to do it for them.

    Problem: I cannot get my site done to save my life.

    Proposal: How about a ticketing system where I file something specific that I need done, everyone looks at it, and if someone has the time, they tell me how much it will cost and that they can have it done by Friday?

    Am I the only one that is this frustrated? I feel like people are scared to work with me but don't know why. I would love some honest insight.

    The good and the bad: I love Genesis but hate that in truth I am limited to the small community who understand the platform.

    You've got a detailed list, so in your case I'd suggest working with a dev or dev company to tackle it so you have an integrated set of solutions rather than one-off items via a ticketing approach provided by different vendors / providers.

    Whilst in general I like your idea, in this specific instance a single provider may be better for you. We're willing to help if you like, and I'm sure other members would be willing. Our contact is in sig if you'd like quoting.

    What I'm proposing is a way to date me rather than marry me.

    My todo list is dynamic, and most programmers want it to be static and in a box so that they know how to quote it. I went to bed last night and woke up with a new idea that I'm about to add to my list. That scares people. I would love to have one entity to work with. I just cannot seem to find one in the Genesis community.

    I DID find a guy that seems to click really well with me, and I posted this at the risk of offending him. J___, you're great so far but apparently you're buried in a project with a beginning and and end and a firm price and a commitment by you to finish it.......and I 'get' that.

    Which is why I would love to find someone to just go take out all of the white space and horizontal line on my blog pages while I wait for J______, or better yet someone to run a query to change a post type to x where category id = 491

    Maybe I only needed to vent. I feel better now.

    Never mind.

    Coincidentally right at my breaking point, my guy did all kinds of work last night! I'm back in my happy place.

    However, I still think my ticketing idea has merit. It could be a good way to find someone you enjoy working with.
