    Add following code at end of functions.php file

    //* Remove the post meta function http://www.basicwp.com
    remove_action( 'genesis_entry_footer', 'genesis_post_meta', 10 );

    This worked mostly perfectly for me. Thank you!
    How do I keep the solid line in there that delineates the end of the post and separates it from the comment section?
