    Somewhere along the line I did something somehow (someone probably helped me without showing me how it was done) that inserts a block of text on top of every post in a certain category. For the life of me I cannot find how to get rid of it.

    It's the block that starts out "We keep our postings live..."

    The first place I'd check is your functions.php file. Have you tried that?

    Sorry.. I should have said that first. Yes, I checked functions.php. I also went through the genesis simple hooks.

    Never mind. I swear, I've checked the genesis hooks a dozen times over a weeks time.
    That's where it was.

    Ah, good catch! Yes, those hooks can be a lot to get through without missing anything. 🙂
