Thank you Anita .. have been playing around with different options but fall short when wanting to pull the data from the featured category

after all these years, yet to find a solution to 'my' old lifestyle theme and the simple Dynamic Content Gallery plugin

now with Gutenberg I may be able to achieve what I want

using Magazine Pro as the framework and building from there

Hi there, apologies for the delay in replying, I do appreciate the feedback and assistance

I have been playing around with a few sliders and found that the Smart Slider 3 adds a slider perfectly to page

the only thing is that I am experimenting a little more before purchasing the slider plugin

ideally I need to pull from a category (featured) for the display of the image

brad, do you use soliloguy plugin, as the smart slider came across as no frills

Hi Anita, I shall look to do that on the Divi FB page

my dilemma is I am using an old old studiopress theme and ideally all I would like to do is keep the same layout

moving to magazine pro is with the sole intention of staying in studiopress while presenting the same layout

Hi Anita, I have added the new widget area with success (thank you) and added the column classes widget and I am able to use it

however, ideally I would like for the widget to be inline with the footer below and not full width

Thanks Anita, will try that and provide feedback, will be a couple of days

Ideally, I would like to add a full width widget area above the footer area widgets, and then I would then be able to add a 4 separate widgets into that widget area. I hope this makes sense 🙂
