unfortunately, I can't post a link since I am building it on a local server
doverMemberok, thank you for your suggestions. I'll see what I can do...always learning!
doverMemberI'm afraid that doing those suggestions takes me out of my depth here, haha!
Will it matter if I change my posts over to pages, or will pages require the same modifications you suggest?
doverMemberThanks Brad for responding so quickly!
Yes, the posts are generated using the Genesis featured posts widget. And, not that it matters, but it's the home bottom section.
doverMembernvm...i just reread your question and realized I did not address what you asked.
doverMemberCreate a menu and then click on the "Custom Link" button. For the URL, enter your phone number (no spaces, hyphens, etc.) after "tel:" for example: tel:1234567890. Next enter in the "Navigational Label" what you want to put on your site as the clickable word, for example: CALL NOW! or the phone # itself, etc. To place it at the top of your site, check the "Secondary Navigation Menu" at the bottom of the menu page.
August 26, 2015 at 9:46 am in reply to: Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content #163575doverMemberAny useful updates on this subject? I have encountered the "Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content" message on Google PageSpeed Insights. I really don't want to use a plugin but may have to unless someone can help with this.

June 11, 2015 at 10:40 am in reply to: Change header logo image size, add clickable phone number under – Altitude Pro #155868doverMemberDid you figure this out? I am wanting to do the same thing but not sure of the best way.
doverMemberAltitude Pro is your child theme. Only the framework gets updated.
doverMemberThanks Victor. I was hoping for notations that stood out since Genesis child themes are so full of CSS.
doverMemberThanks Susan! I did google it and found mixed reviews, some very favorable and others very unfavorable...big surprise, right? I will check them out on Twitter.
doverMemberTalked to my hosting provider and took care of #3 (which seems to be the only item of real concern) by adding some code to the .htaccess file. Thanks Andrea for your guidance since I am so out of my depth here!
doverMemberThanks Andrea and Moriarty! Since these tests have nothing to do with the theme :), do I need to take any action on the server side?
