    Using Altitude Pro, I'd like to add a phone number (clickable/callable on mobile) immediately under the header logo/site title.

    My thought is to start by decreasing the size of the site tile/logo area to fit the logo image. I'm not sure which direction to go from there. Would I want to register a widget area underneath/in the menu? Maybe hooks? Edits to the js file?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Please post the link of your site. Also, with your description it seems that you can make use of header-right and do some css changes to make it display below header logo.

    No. BUT....the second best alternative is to use the 3rd menu (forget if it's primary or secondary but the one that's not used in the Altitude Pro demo) to list my phone numbers.
