ParticipantI've now figured out the 3-column configuration is only available in Front-Page-1. However, I wish to have it in Front-Page-2. Thus I need to change the settings for Front-Page-2 to match. Where can I do this? I'm not finding anything in the CSS for Front-Page-2 and the little it has for Front-Page-1 does not establish these columns. Any advice?

ParticipantThis is a work in progress so content and layout is changing by the minute. The columns I'm referring to have the headings Benefits of Blogging, Class Syllabus, and Prerequisites. I'm trying to get them aligned in one row but cannot, even if I use only a single word in the title and list items.

ParticipantAny answers to this question? I'd also like to know. Basically we want to have the site title (or logo) in the same horizontal alignment as the navigation menu. As is, the .nav-primary placement and size don't allow this. Any suggestions for changes?
di
ParticipantWhen I do this, it automatically adds it as a feature image as well. It does this unless I turn off the Include Feature Image.
di
ParticipantHow do you not load a featured image? How do you load an image to the post without it being featured? Obviously, I'm not completely clear on what a featured image is, other than it appears above the entry-title:-)

ParticipantThanks!

ParticipantI've found how to turn off the featured image by going into Genesis (left menu) / Theme Settings / Content Archives / and deselecting Include Featured Image.
Now, my next question. Is it possible to include a Featured Image for some posts but not others?
Thanks!

ParticipantBrad, can you specify the exact code in functions.php? Starting from line 121 and going to what line? Perhaps copy and pasting the code in case my lines have changed. Thanks so much!
di
ParticipantCould you please share how you've fixed this? I'm having the same problem.
di
ParticipantThanks. I guess I'll try the javascript. The plugin author hasn't answered any of my questions.
di
ParticipantTim, I removed the social media menu and tagline image from the widget area. No luck there. I then blocked out the widget container out of the css, and still no luck.
di
ParticipantRen, this code must be in a plugin because it's not showing up in my style.css. How do I search for this elsewhere?
Tim, mine is a child theme I created. It's a separate theme under my business name with a style.css and function.php file. In these I done a few simple tweaks of the Genesis style.css in order to suit my style. Obviously I over-tweaked something, but can't figure out what.
di
ParticipantSo I tried http://thepixelista.com/responsive-genesis-child-theme-logo/. I was truly hoping this would work because her detailed explanations and step-by-step are excellent. Sadly, though, it did not.
Pixelista instructs making code changes to .header-image .site-title a. However, this completely eliminated my logo image, even in full size mode. I instead applied the suggested code changes to
.header-image #title,
.header-image #title a,
.header-image #title-areaThis works for full size.
I am still unable to get an image to appear at all on my iPhone 5, v.8.1.2
Anyone?
di
ParticipantThanks for answering, Tim. My image is 544x120, therefore does not take the full width of the screen.
You'll note that I have a tagline in the header in addition to the logo. Originally my header image included both the logo and the tagline and together they equalled the full width. However, when I tried to make this responsive, the tagline was too small to be legible and the logo was also too small. I changed my plan separating the logo image from the tagline. The tagline is now a widget image and loaded in a sidebar widget along with the social media icons.
Since doing this, I can't get the logo image to appear at all in my iPhone, responsive or not.
I've tried a variety of solutions listed online. No luck thus far. I'll check out your link.

ParticipantThanks! Works like a charm!

ParticipantAnyone?
di
ParticipantWhere is this? Thanks.

ParticipantBrad, thanks for your answer. Where would I find this code?
di
ParticipantI agree with leemarr. The directions provided in http://my.studiopress.com/setup/minimum-theme/#step-15 seem to be missing a few steps. They definitely need to be more explicit.

ParticipantThanks! Worked like a charm!
