Thanks! Worked like a charm!
December 4, 2019 at 9:18 am in reply to: Additional content not showing in Woo Commerce Shop page, Essence Pro #495232diParticipantThanks, Anita. I checked this thread before starting mine, which then took me to this WordPress.org thread: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/add-text-field-to-shop-page/
I disabled my plugins, as was suggested however it did not help (unfortunately, the user did not state which plugin caused her problems). I hesitate temporarily switching themes because I then must redo my customizations, however if I must, I must.
diParticipantoops, sorry. The content you see is the title. The following content is missing:
“The words of hymns are crafted to stand alone. They need little embellishment. How I treasure them! They emphasize what God has done for me, through Christ.”

November 19, 2019 at 4:17 pm in reply to: add image and additional headline to front page hero section, Essence Pro #494889diParticipantThanks. I'll give it a try!
diParticipantDid this solve the problem? Help the rest of us out by letting us know of your results. Thanks so much.
diParticipantFigured it out...I had the Genesis Featured Image Header plugin activated from a previous Genesis theme. Turned that off and I'm down to one image.
diParticipantAlso, noteworthy, I prefer the full width image over the narrower width. Yet, the narrow width image is what shows for featured images in other pages. See https://adunate.com/about/
November 12, 2019 at 5:30 pm in reply to: Where to find Additional CSS Class, Monochrome Pro #494650diParticipant@anita, thanks for your detailed explanations. Yes, I installed the demo package and I believe I'm using Market (actually as far as I can tell they're all the same except for photos).
Yep, you got it. I'd like to change some of the classes. Seems like the easiest route is, as you said, to create my own. Thanks so much!
November 11, 2019 at 2:08 pm in reply to: Can't get rid of "Home" on homepage, Monochrome Pro #494626diParticipant@Anita, found it! For all you out there like me...go to selected page and then to the Genesis icon in the upper right menu. It's there!
November 11, 2019 at 1:42 pm in reply to: Can't get rid of "Home" on homepage, Monochrome Pro #494625diParticipant@Anita, thanks for your reply. I thought I remember seeing a place to select this, however couldn't find it. When you say Edit Screen, where in the menu is this found? Thanks again.
November 11, 2019 at 1:37 pm in reply to: Can't get rid of "Home" on homepage, Monochrome Pro #494624diParticipantSo when I use the starter pack and it does not have an entry title on the home page, is it because the pack set up its own snippet?
Just curious why the designer would have included a defaulted entry header in the first place? I've never seen websites with a big "HOME" home on them, so obviously they're always removed.
diParticipantThanks!
diParticipantThanks, I’m referring to full width, right to left on the screen. Not necessarily top to bottom, depending on the image. Monochrome Pro’s Front page has images in full width. I’m wondering if its pages can as well.
Good to know about Gutenburg - thanks! Does this apply to other themes as well?
diParticipantI just spent 15 minutes reloading an older version of Genesis (my ftp won't accept folders so I needed to recreate and upload individual files, grrr). Anyway, my background images are now back. Folks, hope I'm not too late in warning you; don't upgrade to 3.0 until they've worked out this glitch!
diParticipantNot working for Infinity Pro either. Very frustrating. How did this version get sent through?
June 20, 2019 at 10:12 am in reply to: Featured image not showing on blog post page, Infinity Pro #491760diParticipantSo, I figured out if I remove the blog Page as the blog post page and just run it as a regular page it shows the Featured Image. I'm assuming it still shows the blog archive due to the Custom Views plugin. Wonder if it needs to Pro version, or would also work with the free version. At this point I'm simply happy it's working.
diParticipantWell, I've now figured out how to get the shortcode into the Page (unfortunately, the Content Views plugin is still not working, but that's obviously another issue).
I succeeded in inserting the shortcode by disabling the TinyMCE Advanced plugin. This took me back to the original, and harder to use, Guntenberg format, which then allowed me to click the block's left side +, then widgets, then shortcode.
I then re-activated the TinyMCE Advanced plugin.
diParticipantYes. I've clicked in to edit the Page set up for blog posts and it's not allowing me to specifically add a shortcode. I tried entering the shortcode in the source code option, however that is not working.
diParticipantThanks! That did the trick!
diParticipantI have, however I'm not familiar enough with css to determine what specifically is the cause. I'm good at spending an hour making random adjustments until I find the one that works (wink). Was hoping my question would generate quicker results.
