ParticipantI think he tried all that were mentioned, I know for sure Solilquy and Genesis Responsive Slider.
My son says...
"Says to put in that code, which works but it's the positioning that's the issue. And so I tried getting rid of that background, but it totally broke everything. I can't remove the background or it'll break. So I tried to make it so that the slider would just sit on top of it, but when you resize it at all you can see the bottom. I think they really just didn't want a slider here."

We're having a heck of time with this issue... my son can usually figure this stuff out but is struggling.
Doug
ParticipantIt looks like you got it to work - did you do it the way that was suggested below your question or some other way? I want to do the same thing.
Doug
ParticipantThanks again Tom - you nailed it again!
Doug
ParticipantThat worked! Thanks Tom - now how to change the color of it? I added font tag to that same spot and it didn't do anything. Thoughts on that one?
Doug
Participantwhat line is that on? I am not finding that - I did a search and it indicates that set of code doesn't exist.
I found this toward the bottom and I changed the font to 36, updated it and it didn't change.

ParticipantDoesn't seem to work for me - see: http://ivyplatzerweltchek.com/

Doug
ParticipantI would like to know this too - I am seeing it more and more.
I had one guy explain that it was fairly complex and that you had to have multiple different versions of the video ready to play so that different browsers could play it. But that's about all I have heard about it.

ParticipantVictor - I wondered if that were the case also, but have tested it on a couple different devices using Safari that had never loaded it before and it still comes out off-center. In fact I found this site and tested it here and it shows off-center here too: https://www.url2png.com

ParticipantAnswered my own question...
Go to stylesheet of Outreach and change the following width setting:
/* Widget Area
--------------------------------------------- */.site-header .widget-area {
float: right;
padding-top: 14px;
text-align: right;
width: 740px;Can be expanded to at least 800px. Not sure about beyond. Genesis has the same widget area set to 800px - not sure if that matters. Good question for someone out there - if I wanted to go beyond 800 in the child theme, does that mean Genesis would have to expand also?

ParticipantI use this on my site and it's a plugin you get from HelloBar. It's very simple to setup. It had some quirky issues the other day that weren't major issues for my site but enough that I deactivated the plugin and complained to them. They said they were upgrading it and fixed it. I activated it and its been fine since.
Doug
ParticipantThank you this is perfect what I was looking for.
Doug
ParticipantChristinaGammon - how did you change the top part of the site to white - that's exactly what I want to do?
Doug
ParticipantYes, BlueHost only does this service on Shared accounts, not VIP. The sites are not large really at all. The largest of them is http://www.gethiredrdh.com

ParticipantI've had this problem a lot also. I haven't found a great solution for it, just have tried some things that usually but not always work. The biggest thing is to Facebook's debugger page - in a nutshell I think it's there as a way to show tell Facebook the site is configured for OG (open graph) better or something like that?
I don't know all the technical aspects of it but when I paste my url into the debugger and then click "Fetch New Scrape Information" I can usually go back into Facebook and it works.
I've also tried Open Graph Protocol plugin and that really didn't seem to help much or at all - maybe I didn't set it up right.
I'm really interested to see what others have to say about this because it's kind of annoying to have to go to the extra steps (wish it just worked). I also have similar problems when pasting to LinkedIn and once in a while to Pinterest (articles).

Participantbhaynet1 - what's the countdown plugin called? I need something like that for my site (need it to display along the top like yours).
