I'm working on a new site and want to add a full width slider to Genesis framework. I want it full width and responsive. How do I do this? I'm not much of a coder but can kind of get by.

    Thanks,

    Michael

Hi - Yes - I would like to know as well. Sorry to jump in but I saw a couple others having the same question - hoping we can all learn!

Brad - I checked out your tutorial - you are wonderful.

btw - I have the Genesis responsive slider installed on Beautiful Pro here: http://www.hiddenpondtreefarm.com/HP_NEW_SITE/

    I was hoping to model the site with a full width slider (1850 x 458) : http://www.originalginger.com/demos/seattledog/

I have registered a new sidebar widget (slider-home) in the functions.php file as well as set it to display.

Then I have added code in Genesis Hooks box: genesis-before-sidebar-wrap.

Also – got rid of the background image & the secondary nav bar.

However – something is funky somewhere – I’ve got the image size I want however it’s now pushed all the way to the right & there’s a border around it.

Anything else I should have added to the CSS to make this centered & get rid of the gray border?

    Should I change to Soliloquy?

    Thank you.
