    Trying to create a slider for StudioPress' Minimum Pro not having success for this website: http://sustainable-environments.net/

    Also, we tried the tutorials on this page and no luck: https://wpsites.net/…/add-slider-background-to-the-minimum…/

    I think he tried all that were mentioned, I know for sure Solilquy and Genesis Responsive Slider.

    My son says...

    "Says to put in that code, which works but it's the positioning that's the issue. And so I tried getting rid of that background, but it totally broke everything. I can't remove the background or it'll break. So I tried to make it so that the slider would just sit on top of it, but when you resize it at all you can see the bottom. I think they really just didn't want a slider here."

    The code includes tags for Soliloquy but not the Genesis Responsive slider which requires a widget area.

    I tested the code and it works fine however it seems you may have broken something when you edited the code.

    I suggest you try with a fresh installation of your theme.
