I'll have to see if there's a way to do that with bbPress. In the meantime, can you provide a link to the thread?

Michael - where did you submit the requests? Was it the Account Assistance page?

I will see what I can do to make the search function here better, as I completely agree that it is important for any use.

This forum is not meant for support - rather discussion about WordPress, design and the likes.

Official support is taken care of in our new My.StudioPress member portal, and is most certainly not a hack. We spent months building something with our users in mind. Not only can you get one-on-one support for your support and technical questions, you're also able to immediately receive a 25% discount on anything from our site when you're logged in.

Following up on this, I just created an Internationalization and Translations forum for questions like this. Feel free to ask any others over there and the guys who are good with this type of stuff should be happy to help!

In Genesis you can enable the author box to show on the author archive page -- see this for example.

To enable that, simple go to the Edit User screen the WP dashboard, and scroll down to the Author Archive Settings section and make sure Enable Author Box on this User's Archives? is checked.

You can see a list of ones you started on your profile page. I'll look into seeing if there's a way to display all posts, rather than just the ones you created.

No, there's really not anything in 1.9 that's more innovative than what Joost put into his plugin. The functionality is really simple - in your edit user screen you place your Google Plus URL and then on any page/post that you create, the rel=author tag will show up in the head of your source code.

@ roar - with the new My.StudioPress member portal, you are able to fill out a help ticket and our staff will personally attend to your question. The forums here are only for general questions about WordPress and design, which might make you think that theme support is getting pushed aside.

We don't have any public page or link to send folks to as far as what's on the roadmap, but what I will say is that in Genesis 1.9 we've got new functions written for implementing Google Fonts as well as one for responsive design. (The latter will require support from the child theme, but we do have a new mobile menu option coming.) There are some other cool things coming in 1.9 such as Google Authorship profiles.

Another major thing is the updated design for the Genesis parent theme, which you can see here. This should be available shortly after WordPress 3.5 is released in December.

Genesis 2.0 will primarily include support for HTML5 elements and will most likely be a spring 2013 release. Hope this helps!

Tracy, your original post is still here -- I had tried to split that thread, which didn't really work so I decided to open an entire forum for suggestions and feedback.

As for links, when you create a link in the text editor, you have the option to set it to open in a new window. As for signatures, since that is a manual process for folks to add, they'd have to add the target="_new" to the HTML for that to happen.

If you're using Chrome or Firefox, right right click the link when you go to open it and you'll have the option to open it in a new tab or window.

@ Kim, are you sure it's not listed as "Sample" for all Genesis and/or Pro Plus members.

@ Daniel, please contact our account assistance page to submit your concern. We'll happily take care of you through that route.

If you purchased our Magazine theme and are logged into the new My.StudioPress portal, you can view the setup instructions which should help. Also, that theme comes with a file called magazine.xml which is location in the /magazine/xml/ folder, and you can use that to import the demo site content.

@ ladygem - all you need to do is setup a Gravatar account and use the same email address that you're using here on the forums. This will give you a global avatar across any WordPress site that you leave a comment on.

@ everyone - can you guys start a new thread here with what you had in this one, so I can delete this one and handle on a per suggestion basis?

I am going to close this so we can address things individually, as it's tough to do that in a single thread.
