If you haven't installed any other SEO plugins, Genesis has built in SEO functionality. Just go to that page or post. Look for the Theme SEO Settings. On the second arrow - add the URL to the internal or external pages/site you want it to point to.

AnitaKeymasterYes, there is a header right widget area. If you leave it blank, the logo and/or text would center. If you add your social media buttons or other content to the header right widget - the logo/text would float left while the header right contents would float right. I love working with that theme.

AnitaKeymasterLook for this;
.title-area { float: left; padding: 10px 0; width: 360px; }
Change the width to 100%.
Keep in mind that your header will not be responsive on mobile devices. You have made a full width image, i.e., 1200px x 200px. When it's reduced it's going to shrink too small because of all the dead space on the left and right of the logo. The best side to use is actually a 320px size which would reduce down very well on devices 768px wide or smaller.

You will see how they are laid out. Just copy/paste what you want to the different area. For the footer widgets - try this - http://my.studiopress.com/tutorials/add-footer-widgets/. AnitaKeymasterThe Frederik child theme is a third party theme by Web Savvy Marketing. Their coding is slightly different than traditional Genesis Child Themes. They provide support for their themes here. They are pretty good about answering questions.

AnitaKeymasterActually, try this one. I modified one number:
a.alignleft img, img.alignleft, .wp-caption.alignleft { margin: 0 17px 12px 0; }

AnitaKeymasterTry adding this to your style sheet above the Media Queries area:
a.alignleft img, img.alignleft, .wp-caption.alignleft { margin: 0 20px 12px 0; }

AnitaKeymasterYou have highly customized Swank beyond the scope of the default media queries. You will need to add new styling elements to that area and test it out. Looks like you need to style it at 768, 568, 480, 320 and 240 (both portrait and landscape). If you need customized service to assist with this, reach out to me on my website. I am familiar with the Swank them.

AnitaKeymasterThe easiest way to remove it is to hide it with CSS. Look for this:
.site-tagline { background-color: #f5f5f5; border-bottom: 1px solid #eee; margin-top: 60px; padding: 40px 0; }
Replace with:
.site-tagline { display: none; }
If you would like to change that to a useable widget area, try this.

AnitaKeymasterThanks' Brad, I am going to modify my post to reflect this and point those looking for internal/self pingbacks to your post.

AnitaKeymasterIt's unethical to create your own child theme from another theme. What do you think is unethical about it? You are doing this to a child theme not the Genesis Framework itself, correct? So whatever you created with your child theme is yours and you can change it as you like. I think if you have further questions about ethics in child themes, you should write the Help Desk because they would be better suited to answer that from a legal perspective.

AnitaKeymasterYou can rename your child theme. Check this out. Do not change the name though while it's active. It's recommended that you save a copy to your desktop, make the changes then install it as a regular theme.

AnitaKeymasterOne way to rule out the theme is to switch to the default WordPress theme. Have you done that? If not, switch to one of the default and see if it still happens.

AnitaKeymasterIt appears that you are trying to add the small image as the background which is why it's positioned in that colored space. The space is configured for a 2000 x 200 sized image. Are you trying to add that as your logo? You should be using the Header function instead.

AnitaKeymasterI am not sure. I don't know what code you used by Brad to do what you've done. Go back to his tutorial and re-read his instructions.

AnitaKeymasterAgentpress is a plugin that they created a separate child theme for and many have developed genesis child themes to work well with it. Classipress is an actual theme with the functionality built directly into the theme with a lot of add ons. So there is a big difference between the two products.

AnitaKeymasterWell, what you are looking for is a niche theme. I don't think that type of site is on their radar, but a plugin could certainly work. I really prefer to keep things separate as plugins so that if one thing stops working it doesn't bring the entire website down.

AnitaKeymasterI just walked back through the steps and I don't see pingbacks on the pages anymore. I activated it under Genesis > Settings also and then re-walked the steps and only Comments shows up. So this must be something that was removed.
Go to Settings > Discussions. Look to see if the second line is checked that says "Allow link notifications from other blogs (pingbacks and trackbacks) ." If so, uncheck that and then add an internal link to a page. See if it still sends you the notification.

AnitaKeymasterGo back to Brad's tutorials. You are using a Custom Post Type which requires an additional code. So go back to Brad's code, whatever that may be, and look for the instructions for adding that part.
