Can you add a screen shot of your full screen in here?

AnitaKeymasterBut you don't see it anywhere on your pages and posts - when you are in Edit mode? Scrolled all the way to the bottom? It's not there?

AnitaKeymasterIf you need assistance, let me know. I used to provide support for her. I am very familiar with that theme. Just reach out to me on my website.

AnitaKeymasterYou should see this on both pages and posts. Did you design the site yourself? Sometimes developers will hide theme settings. If you still do not see the Layouts - go to your user profile. Scroll down and check to see if you have Layout settings there. You don't need to do anything there - just look to see if it's there. If you don't, then there may be some code in your Functions.php file that is hiding it.

AnitaKeymasterThat's a third-party theme. You should contact the theme developer (Lauren) on her website - http://restored316designs.com/. She provides support for her own themes over there.

AnitaKeymasterThe next widget appears closer because of the black shadow box. In the code I gave you above, add a bottom margin and it will bring it down:
.sidebar .enews-widget { margin-bottom: 35px; width: 240px; }

AnitaKeymasterI worked with this one on a client site a couple of years ago. It integrated well back then.

AnitaKeymasterYou can do that by selecting the Full Width Layout on the Page or Post itself. If you don't see layouts, then go up to Screen Options on a Page or Post, select Layouts and it will show up. No need for any special coding.

AnitaKeymasterOh, you don't activate the Genesis Framework, you only install it. Go to Appearance > Themes. Select the default WordPress theme so that Genesis is not activated. Then install Amplify.

AnitaKeymasterSupport said you were already in touch with them and they are taking action. Can you mark this resolved? Thanks.

AnitaKeymasterThank you for sharing that. I will let them know.

AnitaKeymasterYou need the Genesis Framework installed before you can install the Amplify Child Theme. It says it in small print here - http://restored316designs.com/product/amplify-theme/ above the Add to Cart. There is a link. Purchase that, install it and then you can install Amplify.

AnitaKeymasterChange your current padding to what I have here.
.enews { background: none repeat scroll 0 0 rgba(0, 0, 0, 0); margin: -18px; overflow: hidden; padding: 25px 25px 5px; text-align: center; text-shadow: none; }

AnitaKeymasterCopy the original function.php file from you desktop over to the theme folder on the server.

AnitaKeymasterI use Firebug for Firefox which is a developer tool add on for the browser. Google Chrome and Internet Explorer both have developer tools similar to this. That's how I found that it wasn't wide enough. It's not that it wasn't wide enough per se - but when you added the dimensions for the box shadow - that means you need to decrease the overall size of that area to accommodate that new dimension. So for example if the space is 320px and you add box shadow of say 5px - then you would need to decrease the 320 by 5 or a little more for that added 5px box shadow to show up.

September 6, 2014 at 8:54 pm in reply to: Third Sidebar Widget Out of Alignment – Outside Aside Sidebar Tag #123110AnitaKeymasterThat widget is identified as Text-6. Do you have any styling added to that in your style sheet? You have minify turned on so I cannot find your code.

AnitaKeymasterIt looks like you've resolved your issue. If so, could you mark this thread resolved? Thanks much!
