I'd delete the inline styles and just leave it as <mark>
<mark>Was uns wirklich nährt</mark>
Then just change what you want in your style sheet or custom css targeting the page ID's as shown below -
.page-id-345 mark { color: #FFFFFF; font-family: 'Josefin Sans', sans-serif; background-color: rgba(25, 220, 120, 0.4); padding: 1% 3%; }
The page ID shown in the above example is for this page - 'was-ist-die-richtige-ernaehrung'
Now you can target any page you want once you find the page ID
July 5, 2019 at 11:10 am in reply to: Use this Genesis function with conditional statements for multisite? #492141andytcParticipantYou could use is_tree for parent/child pages
Add this code to functions first -
// If is tree parent/child pages function is_tree($pid) { global $post; if(is_page()&&($post->post_parent==$pid||is_page($pid))) return true; else return false; };
And then find the parent page ID's you want to target and add this code to functions.php
Example -
if (is_tree(2)) { // '2' is the parent page ID - change to your ID //* Customize search form input box text add_filter( 'genesis_search_text', 'sp_search_text' ); function sp_search_text( $text ) { return esc_attr( 'Search website' ); } }
Then just add the other pages you want to target in the same way
if (is_tree(151)) { // '151' is the parent page ID - change to your ID //* Customize search form input box text add_filter( 'genesis_search_text', 'sp_search_text' ); function sp_search_text( $text ) { return esc_attr( 'Search' ); } }

July 5, 2019 at 2:39 am in reply to: custom title with strange background after update to 3.0.0 #492133andytcParticipantIt has a '<mark>' style added as shown below -
<mark style="font-family: 'Josefin Sans', sans-serif;color: #ffffff;margin-left: 60px;padding: 1% 3%">Erkenne Dein Selbst!</mark>
In the CSS as below -
mark { background: #ff0; color: #000; }
You can try adding this to custom CSS -
mark { background: none; }
https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml5_mark
andytcParticipantOn the problem page each paragraph has a span style added that changes the font-weight - see below
<span style="font-weight: 400;">Diverse target audiences were defined across factors including industry, company size, job title, interests and behaviors. Analysis of performance created an ongoing feedback loop into business strategy, driving insight into the customer traits most likely to try, use and purchase.</span>
Find out where that span is being added , it's set for 300 as the default , this is over ridding that.
July 2, 2019 at 2:18 am in reply to: Jump to the top after page load (PLEASE, STUDIO PRESS!) #492074andytcParticipantYes , I know what you mean and it's not happening for me on mobile , it's all smooth and quick with no jumps back to top on any page. My guess is what has been suggested earlier , slow loading pages due to users poor connection speed or your hosting.
July 1, 2019 at 4:10 pm in reply to: Jump to the top after page load (PLEASE, STUDIO PRESS!) #492061andytcParticipantI’m not seeing any page jumps back to top , i viewed lots of your pages , they all loaded pretty fast for me considering some are a long scroll, I don’t see a back to top button of any kind. Probably not what you want to hear , but I can’t see the issue and this is on a mobile.
July 1, 2019 at 3:04 pm in reply to: make a second page work the same as the main front page on Altitude Pro #492059andytcParticipantWhere’s the page you’ve reproduced .. URL ?
June 30, 2019 at 5:37 am in reply to: Monochrome Pro – removing white space under the main window #492012andytcParticipantTry this -
All pages including home page -
.entry { margin-bottom: 0px; }
Contact page only
.page-id-319 .entry { margin-bottom: 0; }
About page only
.page-id-652 .entry { margin-bottom: 0; }
Use the page-id to target specific pages , page ID can be found in the <body-class> with DEV tools or in the back-end when editing a page.
June 28, 2019 at 2:12 am in reply to: make a second page work the same as the main front page on Altitude Pro #491986andytcParticipantThe original page images with parallax have this code -
.front-page-1, .front-page-3, .front-page-5, .front-page-7 { background-attachment: fixed; background-color: #fff; background-position: 50% 0; background-repeat: no-repeat; -webkit-background-size: cover; -moz-background-size: cover; background-size: cover; }
You'd need to add your new classes to this or just reproduce it as you want.
June 28, 2019 at 2:08 am in reply to: Monochrome Pro – removing white space under the main window #491985andytcParticipantPlease explain exactly where this white space block appears ?
... down on the bottom at the end of the blue background, just above footer
I'm not seeing a blue background ?
andytcParticipantWorking from the Demo I see 3 areas with the opacity -
Doing it individually -
The Header image
.page-header:before { background-color: rgba(35, 44, 57, 0.9); }
Widget area 4
.front-page-4:before { background-color: rgba(35, 44, 57, 0.9); }
The Footer area
.before-footer:before { background-color: rgba(35, 44, 57, 0.9); }
Or All combined -
.page-header:before,.front-page-4:before,.before-footer:before{ background-color: rgba(35, 44, 57, 0.9); }
Change the rgba value 0.9 to what you want or zero it
andytcParticipantAdd the CSS to the WordPress customise section - 'Additional CSS'
Notice the font-weight: normal; , the font-weight is set to 200 by deafult in the theme , were changing that because at 200 it's very light and even with black text it looks a bit grey still and you might think it hasn't changed ... so adjust that to suit.
andytcParticipantTry adding this to your custom CSS - the padding is set to 40px by default in a CSS media query, below we can change that to 0 , but you can set the padding to whatever you want
@media only screen and (max-width: 1200px) { .content .post.entry .entry-title, .content .post.entry .entry-meta, .content .post.entry .entry-content, .full-width-content .content .entry .entry-title, .full-width-content .content .entry .entry-meta, .full-width-content .content .entry .entry-content { padding: 0; } }
andytcParticipantEverything -
body { color: #000; font-weight: normal; }
or just paragraph text -
.entry-content p { color: #000; font-weight: normal; }
andytcParticipantAdd this to your custom CSS -
.content-sidebar .content { border-right: none; } .sidebar .widget { border-bottom: none; }
andytcParticipantGlad it's working for you , if you did want to use some social icons in that widget area-4 then this code would be better , we'll be more specific with 'a' class that affects the icons and add our own a class for other links in that widget area only.
.front-page-4 .widget:nth-of-type(n+2) a .fa { display: inline-block; height: 32px; width: 32px; margin: 15px 0; color: #363f48; line-height: 32px; text-align: center; } .front-page-4 .widget:nth-of-type(n+2) a .fa:hover { color: #ff6c3a; } .front-page-4 .widget:nth-of-type(n+2) a { width:auto; margin: 15px 0; color: #363f48; line-height: 32px; text-align: center; }
andytcParticipantAssuming you've got 4 widgets in total as the Theme docs describe , try adding this to the WordPress customise 'Additional CSS' section - It's the 'a href' link it doesn't like as it has widths added to the css that are meant for social icons.
.front-page-4 .widget:nth-of-type(n+2) a { height: auto; width: auto; }
April 15, 2019 at 7:29 am in reply to: Website build using new Revolution theme – Gutenberg optimized #490660andytcParticipantLong page scroll on the homepage with no sticky menu or back to top button.
Why would you install Beaver builder for a single page ? The contact page doesn’t seem complex at all, surely could have sorted that without Beaver Builder.
andytcParticipantThis plugin will do that , it's not been updated recently but it still works just fine (read reviews). I've used this on a couple sites and it's working very well.
andytcParticipantFind the bunny image in the media library and un-attach it.
