Topic: Infinity Pro – Header overlays first widget area on front page
Hi there,
I'm currently building a website using the Infinity Pro theme in a local environment. I'm using a logo instead of the site title, so the background of the header is always white (even without scrolling).My problem: The header overlays the first widget area on the front page. For example, the header covers the upper part of the background image in the first widget area.
My question: How can I make the first widget area start after the header, so that the header does not cover any part of the first widget area?
In my opinion, adding a constant margin-top for ".front-page .site-inner" is not an option because the height of the header changes depending on viewing device. In addition, the height of the responsive header depends on the number of menu items.
Thanks for your help. Your comments are much appreciated.
I used the instructions for "Option 6" in this post: http://keypresswp.com/getting-your-head-around-header-images/
I now have responsive headers on both of my sites: http://www.legacyhud.com
However, after I uploaded the logo.png file per the instructions, it shows up in Firefox but not Chrome nor Safari (don't have IE installed on Mac, so didn't check that one). So while I can see it on Firefox, other people cannot using alternate browsers.
Here's what I see: https://puu.sh/w3Tlp/ec3f0f7440.png
Here's what someone using Chrome sees: https://puu.sh/w3Sop/b09d40f550.pngHi, I can't explain it correctly so take a look at this screenshot.
If I'm using mobile, I want to display: none the logo but I want it on the responsive menu.
I'm using magazine pro theme. How to do it?
Hello,
I am using Executive Theme by StudioPress
My website looks great on a laptop screen.
However there are issues when you see the site on a phone screen
I had put in my company logo on the website. However it is not responsive on the phone screen (http://indusbasinco.com/). How do I put in a logo that is responsive on the laptop and phone screen?

Hello –
I have been looking for similar problems for solution, for hours. Can’t find solution.I am redesigning my site, and starting w/ changing new mobile responsive header first. I loaded the range of full and mobile sizes in media library and then through the Genesis widgets things on the left. I am just replacing all the former ones, with the new design logo image. They are the same height as before, but full width now.
The width is showing fine.
They were all mobile responsive before, and seem to still be so.Is there somewhere else I need to make changes, though? Because…..
*PROBLEM: I am getting LOT of white space above and below the header, when previewing for tablets and phones.
Desktop/laptop is fine and as it should be. Meaning, menu bars are abutting the header image. That's how I want it to show on everything.Giving links to screenshots of previews.
*NOTE: My site has a maintenance mode plugin going while I update the site....so you can’t just visit it. However, I am hoping these screenshots will help you see the problem.Here is a link to the folder of the images, as previews of desktop, tablet and phone:

I would appreciate any help! Thanks. 🙂Hi,
I'm using Lifestyle Pro to build a site.
I've setup the header image which is 1070 x 180 pixels. It has large text across the centre, a small star image above this text, and another line of smaller text below it. It looks fine on large screens, but the text is really small on smaller screens because of the responsive design. For this reason, I'd like to specify an alternative image for smaller devices.
I've found several tutorials online, but none of them work for me.
This is some of the CSS code I have:
@media only screen and (max-width: 360px) {.header-image .site-title a {
background-size: contain !important;
background-image: url('logo.png');
}I'm not quite sure where I'm going wrong.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

[Resolved]Topic: stop shrinking logo Hello Pro
Hello! I am stuck and cannot figure out a simple way to stop the logo/header from shrinking in Hello Pro, any help would be greatly appreciated. I still want it to be responsive bot not shrink on full screen with scrolling. Thanks!!
Has anyone else noticed/experienced problem with the Glam Pro theme in mobile responsive mode? I am using this theme and the header/logo is not aligning correctly in mobile (it's off the the right) and the biggest issue is that all the sub navigation arrows are all jumbled to the right as well.
In looking at the live site demo on my mobile device, I see the down arrows on the demo sub nav is similar -- although not as bad as it is on my site. Has anyone else experienced this? Anyone have a fix for this? I really like this theme, but this is a deal breaker if it doesn't render correctly on mobile. Any suggestions/code fixes etc, would be greatly appreciated.
