Your HTML pages aren't fully rendering, but it's not possible to say why from just looking at the front end of the site. Whatever is going on requires a deeper level of troubleshooting than we can help with without accessing the back end of the site.
I suggest enabling WordPress debug, and walk through plugin conflict testing. The first plugin I would disable is Yoast 11. The new version gave me a lot of problems on my site because their new schema rendering conflicts with Genesis. When I disabled the Genesis schema, Yoast broke my site entirely. I have stopped using Yoast because of the ongoing problems with their releases.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorimg is an HTML selector. All images are displayed using an img element. By adding img as a modifier to the .single-featured-image class, it tells the browser to apply the CSS to any image contained within the element with the .single-featured-image class.
As for building websites, it depends on what my client wants. I have many, many clients that still use the classic editor. I use Gutenberg for my websites and my development server, but I find that Gutenberg doesn't support a lot of the customizations I make so I end up using the custom HTML block a lot.
BTW, there's free video training available on my site if your want to learn more about WordPress/Gutenberg.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou can't just move WordPress files to a new directory and expect everything to work. WordPress is a data driven product. There are many, many links in the database that point to the subdomain. Moving files does not change the links in the database.
You should create a brand new instance of WordPress in the root directory, new database included, then migrate the content to the new instance using a tool like Updraft Plus.
You may want to consider hiring a dev to help with this. It may have to pay for a few hours of someone's time, but it will get done the right way. Hosts sometimes offer migration services as well. Check with your host.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe error from wp_includes is a symptom of something else going on, but it is not the root cause of the error. This is saying that the $post object isn't defined by anything in your code before WordPress is trying to use it.
You need to have a trace to see the execution stack leading up to the reported error. Enable WordPress debug and examine the error log.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorTrying to duplicate the look and feel of a widgetized home page in a standard page takes advanced WordPress skills to build a custom template. It would require multiple custom queries.
You could possible try a page builder or research if there are any Gutenberg blocks available that may be able to help you.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou're using the featured post widget. You are not using the blog archive that displays the pagination. Don't confuse standard blog post display with featured post widget. They are very different tools.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorThe setting for the Metro Pro front page is coded into the page. Edit front-page.php and comment out the following line:
add_filter( 'genesis_pre_get_option_site_layout', '__genesis_return_content_sidebar' );
The example site with 3-posts across is using a page builder to accomplish the look. Can't help you with this one until the site is in a place where we can see the CSS.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?April 15, 2019 at 7:57 am in reply to: How do I find where the menu items appear within the "Customize Appearance" menu #490663Victor FontModeratorIn terms of code base, all Genesis child themes are built upon the Genesis Framework code base. This does not mean that all child themes have the same customizations, though.
You don't mention what theme's you're using. It's very common for theme developers to provide different customizations for different themes. "Background Image" is an example of a theme customization not related to the Genesis Framework code base.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou didn't say what theme you're using, but in general files are loaded in functions.php. Using the Genesis Sample theme as an example, edit functions.php and look for code similar to this:
// Adds WooCommerce support. require_once get_stylesheet_directory() . '/lib/woocommerce/woocommerce-setup.php'; // Adds the required WooCommerce styles and Customizer CSS. require_once get_stylesheet_directory() . '/lib/woocommerce/woocommerce-output.php'; // Adds the Genesis Connect WooCommerce notice. require_once get_stylesheet_directory() . '/lib/woocommerce/woocommerce-notice.php';
Comment it out and it won't load.

Plugins override many of the default theme settings. You'll either have to disable the Genesis Extender or figure out how to make it work with your theme.

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorFor the transitions, search through style.css for the word "transition". You'll find it at least 4 times.
If transitions are coming from plugins or Gutenberg blocks, you'll have to create your own custom CSS.
What do you mean by "smoothing"?

Have you requested your free website audit yet?Victor FontModeratorYou're missing the .post-image class that needs to be applied to the image itself. I don't know that you can do this with Gutenberg. Something you can try is adding the CSS like this to the style sheet:
.single-featured-image img { border-radius: 10px; box-shadow: 0 19px 70px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.12); transition: all 0.2s; }
